Too Faced: Lip Injection Glossy in Spice Girl Review

Hey guys! If you read my August Haul, then you already know that I was planning on reviewing the new Too Faced Lip Injection Glossy! A lot of people have been talking about this product and I just had to give it a go! Too Faced released 6 different shades! I got mine in the shade Spice Girl. So ya, let's just jump into this review!

The Too Faced Lip Injection Glossy in Spice Girl!

Let's start off with the packaging. The packaging is just so stunning that you don't even want to throw away the box! It comes in a gold box. The front of the box has the same shade corresponding to the lip gloss shade, which I just found smart! It'll be easier to spot it in your collection!  The packaging of the lip gloss itself is also stunning! The top part is a stunning medium toned gold with  metallic gold detailing to it! It's super cute! It just has a lace like pattern with bows! The bottom is clear, so that you can see your shade. It's really sturdy! It comes with a really nice applicator! This lip gloss comes with 4g of product, which is a really nice amount! It retails for  $29CAD. It's a bit pricey, but you'll be the one to judge after this review! You can find this at Sephora or any Too Faced retailers! It's also available on the Too Faced website of course!

Too Faced packaging is always on point!

Another look at the packaging!

As mentioned, I purchased the shade Spice GirlSpice Girl is a beautiful medium pinky/peachy nude. If you have medium to tan skin, then this is your perfect nude! It's that "everyday" kind of color! If you have lighter or darker skin, this will still suit you really nicely! Like, you can't go wrong with this shade! This gloss is very glossy and it has very fine specks of shimmer that you can barely see!

Here's a swatch of Spice Girl

So, let's talk about this product. This is a really unique product. It's a plumping lip gloss! That means that it's supposed to plump your lips and create that illusion that you got a lip injection. It's definitely something that's different and since lip injections are so big now, everyone just wants bigger lips. At first, I was like how can that possibly happen with a lip gloss? Too Faced legit made it happen! This stuff actually works! After a few minutes that you apply this lip gloss, you start to see your lips getting plumped! They just look fuller! They're not going to be huge, but you do see a little difference. It just looks natural, which I really like! This lip gloss is also very hydrating on the lips! It also glides on like butter! The lip gloss itself has a nice color pay off! It's not too opaque, so it's perfect topper for your lipstick! You can even just wear this alone! It wears for a good 3 hours if you don't eat or drink, which isn't bad. The finish is ultra glossy and it just adds a really nice sheen to your lips! The results are nice, but I just can't stand the burning effect! When you apply this lip gloss, seconds later, you start to feel this burn on your lips. If you have sensitive lips, this product is definitely not for you! I don't have sensitive lips, but it's definitely not something that I would wear everyday. The burn is very uncomfortable and it takes awhile for it to go away!  Minus the burning, this lip gloss is really well formulated!

Here's a before picture

Here's the after picture! You see a bit of a difference!

I'm wearing just the gloss on my lips! It's a really nice shade!

With that being said, I do recommend it to those of you that can put up with the burn. The results are really nice! However, if you can't deal with any kind of pain or burn, then it may be best if you don't try it! As for my personal preference, I won't be repurchasing this, because I just find it uncomfortable. If Too Faced finds a way to make them not burn, then I'll definitely pick up all of them! So ya, that's my opinion! What are your thoughts on it? Have you guys been loving these?

Kat Von D: Serpentina Eyeshadow Palette Review

Wow, Kat Von D has been on fire with all these new releases! I've always been a fan of her. I admire her creativity and artistry. Some of my favorite products are from her brand (The Lock It Foundation and the Shade+Light Palette). I've been eyeing her new concealers, but I decided to purchase her new Serpentina Eyeshadow Palette first. I mean look at this palette and the shades! This shade range is just so stunning! I been wanting to just branch out and do more colorful looks, so I thought this palette would be perfect! I figured I'd also just do a review on it while I'm at it! So ya, let's get into it!

The Kat Von D Serpentina Eyeshadow Palette!

Let's begin with the packaging. I mean this packaging is so Kat Von D! It has that Gothic theme to it, just like most of her packaging! The detailing is really nice on this palette! It's very and I mean very sturdy! It comes in this rectangular form. It's not the most ideal palette to travel with, because it's kind of big. Inside, it comes with a decent size mirror. This palette has 8 bold shades and 1 pigment. Each eyeshadow comes with 1.1g of product and the pigment comes with 1.5g of product. It's fairly a good amount! This palette retails for $57CAD and you can buy it live at Sephora! It's limited edition, so now is the chance to get it!

Another look at this palette!

Let's talk about the shade range. So, these are some really bold colors! It's definitely not your everyday palette, but it's perfect for those of you that want to add color to your collection! I normally don't gravitate towards these kind of palettes, but I'm trying to step out of my comfort zone, so I was like why not? I also find that these shades are definitely wearable! You can easily pop them on the lid or the lower lash line! You're just going to need to use a basic neutral eyeshadow palette, since this palette has no neutral shades whatsoever! Other that that, the shades are absolutely stunning! I haven't seen a shade range like this before!

Look at these shades!

The formula is different for each shade, so I'll break them down. Some of these shades have a really nice formula, but others I'm not the biggest fan of! Starting left to right:

1)Bloodmilk: This shade is a medium-dark matte red with slightly warm undertones. It's pigmented, but it feels dry. It's not as smooth as I would like it to be. Even the swatch is kind of patchy. However, the shade itself is stunning and I love to use it in the crease. I find it blends somewhat ok. I find myself working with it a lot more than most matte shades, so make sure you have a good blending brush! There's no fallout to it, which is always a good thing! It's long wearing! I wore it for 6 hours and it didn't fade away at all! Overall, this shade is stunning, but the formula isn't the best! So, be cautious when you use it!

2)Medusa: This is a metallic medium-dark antique gold with a metallic finish. This shade is buttery smooth and super pigmented! Unlike some of the other shades, it's a lot more firm, so it doesn't crumble in the pan when you dip your brush into it! It has very minimal fallout to it. It blends really nicely! I love to use this shade all over the lid! It's definitely a lot more wearable than the other shades! It's also super long wearing! I've wore this for about 8 hours and it didn't fade away at all! This shade definitely has the best formula in this palette!

3)Ankh: This shade is a matte blackened brown with gold/bronze micro shimmer. This shade is stunning, but it's super dry! It's a lot harder to work with. I have to spray MAC Fix Plus on my brush to get the coverage that I want. It's not as opaque as it looks in the pan! It's also harder to blend out this shade! It has no fallout, which is the only positive thing about it! This in my opinion is the worst shade in this palette! It's stunning, but the formula is a complete "no no"!

4)Queen: This shade is a medium-dark purple burgundy with a pearly finish. This shade is buttery smooth and super pigmented! It's a bit more delicate, so it does crumble in the pan when you dip your brush into it! However, the fallout is minimal! This shade also blends really nicely and it's a lot easier to work with! It's also long wearing! This is such a beautiful shade for fall! It's definitely one of my favorite shades in this palette!

5)Hieroglyph: This shade is a medium orange-copper with a metallic finish. This is definitely bold and bright! It's a really nice shade for the lid or even on the bottom lash line! This shade is also delicate, so it does crumble in the pan, however it's very pigmented! It's also really smooth, so it blends out really nicely! This shade wears for 8 hours and then starts to fade away slowly!

6)Nile: This shade is a medium cobalt blue with a pearly finish. This shade is beyond opaque! A little goes a long way! It's not as delicate as Hieroglyph, but it's not as firm as Medusa either. It legit falls in between. This shade has minimal fallout and it blends really nicely! I've wore this for 8 hours and it didn't fade away at all! I'm really impressed with this shade! It's definitely one of the better formulas in this palette!

7)Scarab: This shade is a medium cool toned green with a metallic finish. This is also super opaque and bold! It's super smooth and pigmented! It's texture is the same as NileIt's a bit delicate. It has minimal fallout! It also blends nicely! I've wore this for 6 hours and it doesn't fade away at all!

8)Venom: This shade is a medium-dark purple with a matte finish. It's also very dry and the swatch was patchy. It's pigmented, but it doesn't blend that nicely! You have to take the time to work with it, especially if you decide to pop it in the crease! However, it's long wearing and there's very minimal fallout to it!

Here are the swatches of all the shades!

I used all the eyeshadows from this palette for this eye makeup!
Another look at this eye makeup!

Lastly, the palette came with a pigment called Prophet. It's a medium-dark green gold with a metallic finish. It's finely mild and super pigmented! You can apply this wet or dry! When I apply it dry, I do like to use a glitter glue to avoid any fallout! This is a really nice bold pigment! I've used it a few times in the inner corners of my eyes and it legit just makes everything pop! It's also very long wearing! You can get multiple uses out of this pigment, which is why I really like it!

Prophet

Here's a swatch of Prophet

Overall, this isn't my favorite palette, but it's not horrible either. I just expected better, especially since Kat Von D products are normally always good! I was really surprised with the matte shades! They're definitely not her usual formula! With all this being said, do I recommend it? Sadly, I don't. This palette is unique, but the shades aren't that unique. You may not find all the shades in one palette, but they definitely already do exist in the market! There's also eyeshadows that are formulated a lot better than these ones, so you can definitely pass on this. However, if you really want to get it, then go for it! You can definitely make this palette work, it just requires more time due to the poor formulation! So, that's it for this review! I'm trying my best to get the other reviews up! I hope you guys have a great week!

Guerlain: Terracotta Terra Magnifica Bronzing Powder-Contrast Highlighter Review

Hey guys, so today's review is going to be on the new Guerlain Terracotta Terra Magnifica Bronzing Powder-Contrast Highlighter. I know this is a pricey product, but I figured I'd review it anyways, since there's not that many reviews on it. Now, I've heard a lot of people rave about the regular Guerlain bronzers, so I had high expectations for this bronzer! I just been loving those bronzey looks lately, so I really wanted to just pick up a new bronzer! So ya, let's just get into the review!

Look at this new Guerlain bronzer!

Starting off with the packaging, it's absolutely stunning! It's also very unique, because it comes in this container with a twist off lid. I never seen a bronzer with this kind of packaging, so it's definitely going to stand out in my collection! Inside, you have the product and a mirror on the lid! It's a pretty big container, so the mirror is a really nice size and it's super clear! The cool thing about this is that you can remove the product from the container, so that you can use the container for storage! Like, once you're done with this product, just throw out the pan and sponge. It's a really chic container for your vanity! The embossing is SO stunning! There's just so much detailing going on! So, the concept of this product is that it's mostly a bronzer, but you have the center circle that comes with a satin highlighter. The whole product has a gold overspray. I'm not a fan of overspray, so when I received this product, I just dusted it off. It's definitely cute for decoration, but I just don't like it in my bronzer! This comes with 19g of product and it retails for $76CAD. You can buy it at Sephora or any retailers that sell Guerlain! This stuff is limited edition, so you might want to get it soon before it sells out!

The packaging is really stunning!

Such unique packaging!

I just can't get over how beautiful this is!

Let's talk about the shade. On Sephora, it said that the shade of this bronzer is 03, which is the best selling Terracotta shade! In the pan it looks like a really nice medium brown, however, it swatches more of a orangey brown on my skin tone (I fall in between medium to tan skin with reddish undertones). It definitely didn't look like the color that I  anticipated, but it's still stunning! I find when you swatch a bronzer, you never get the color that you anticipate, but once you apply it, it's really nice! So, when I applied it to my skin, it didn't appear too orange and it just looked like a stunning warm bronzer. It definitely warmed up my face and it looked really natural! If you have light to medium skin, this shade will definitely work really well for you. However, if you have tan to dark skin, it may be too light for you! You can always build up the color, but since it's an expensive bronzer, I recommend that you purchase from their original Terracotta bronzer line, so that you get your moneys worth! The bronzer is nice, but the highlight could have been better. The highlighter is more of a beige with a satin finish to it. I wouldn't necessarily set my under eyes with this highter. It' more for the high points of your cheek bones! If you have light skin, you can even mix the 2 shades to lighten up the bronzer! The highlight shade can be useful, it's just not what I typically like to go for!

A close up!

Here are the swatches on my medium skin! The bronzer doesn't swatch properly, but once you apply it on your face, it's really nice!

This is how the bronzer looks on my skin! It legit blends in so effortlessly! It's just so natural!

Moving onto the formula! I mean the powder is silky smooth! It's also pigmented and it blends like a dream! Like, this stuff honestly melts into your skin, so it just gives you such a natural bronzey effect! It's super easy to work with! You can use any natural hair fluffy brush and it'll get the work done! It's also super long wearing! I can go a full day with this product on and it won't budge! The bronzer is also more of a demi matte. It's almost matte, but not exactly! I really like that, because again it adds a subtle sheen to your skin that just makes it even more natural! I find especially for the summer, the skin just looks so much better when there's a sheen going on! The highlighter is also the same exact formula! The only difference is that the highlighter is more on the satin side! It's also pigmented, blendable and long wearing! The highlighter doesn't emphasize any pores or anything! Overall, this product has a really nice formula!

One last look at this gem!

With all that being said, I'm absolutely obsessed with this bronzer! It's a really nice product that can work for multiple skin tones! If you happen to go see it in person, then be sure to apply it on your face if you can, because the swatch isn't the best! It's just so beautiful once you put it on! I know it's a very expensive product, but it'll last you forever, so it's worth the investment! I'm telling you the formula honestly wins me over! It makes me want to try more Guerlain products! That's it for this review, let me know your thoughts on this product and if you plan on getting it!

August Favorites 2016 (Makeup)

Hey guys, so as promised here is my August Favorites! I'll be honest this month I haven't had the time to play with all my new makeup, so I just been loving a lot of the same products that I mentioned in my previous Favorites! So ya, this month I won't be mentioning too many products, so feel free to check out my previous few Favorites posts!

What do you think of the pink background? I just needed a change!

I'm going to start off with 2 skincare products that I been using all month! The first product is the Nivea Body Milk. I mean why haven't I purchased this before?! This stuff is beyond nourishing on the skin! It just makes my skin look so healthy! It even leaves this natural sheen to the skin that I really like! It honestly keeps my skin hydrated all day! I got the Dry to Very Dry Skin, because I do have a lot of dry areas on my body. It's honestly just beyond hydrating! If you have dry skin, you NEED this in your life! Next, I been loving the Origins Clear Improvement Active Charcoal Mask. This mask is just beyond amazing for your pores! I took it with me to Florida and I forgot how much I actually love this product! It's main ingredient is charcoal, so it really deep cleans your pores! It just gets rid of all the impurities and leaves your skin feeling healthy! If you need a effective mask for your pores, I highly recommend this mask!

I love both these products!

I also been loving the Givenchy Mister Mat Mattifying Primer. I've had this for a few years and I don't use it as often, since this stuff is pricey. However, I took it with me to Florida since I knew I was going to do a full face and you know the heat in Florida! My makeup honestly didn't budge. One of the reasons is definitely this primer! I like to apply this around my nose area and forehead (the areas that I get oily the fastest) before I apply my foundation. It just helps my makeup stay matte in those areas! Then, I keep this stuff on me for instant touch ups! I don't need a lot of touch ups, but days that I have my makeup on all day, I do sometimes get a bit shinny in my oily areas. I just dispense this product onto my fingers and dab the product onto the oily areas. It instantly just mattifies my makeup! It's that easy! I don't need to carry a brush with me for this stuff, I just use my fingers! This primer is worth the splurge!

The best matte primer I've ever used!

I've still been obsessing over my Glow Kits and all, but I also been loving this highlighter! This is The Extra Dimension Skinfinish in Oh, Darling by MAC. I mean I was obsessed with this when it first came out and I gave it a long break. I brought it with me on vacation and I just started using it non stop after that! Oh, Darling is a beautiful true gold! It just looks so nice with bronzey makeup! The formula is also really nice! It's super long wearing and pigmented! It blends like a dream ! The texture of it is really nice. It feels like those gel based powders! I saw on Instagram that MAC will be releasing new shades in this formula, so I can't wait to get my hands on them! Oh, Darling was unfortunately limited edition, but try to get your hands on the new highlighters that MAC will be releasing soon!

One of my all time favorite highlighters!

I also wanted to mention the Mikasa Beauty brushes! I kind of gave you guys a brief story between my affiliation with Mikasa Beauty, so check out my "August Haul" here. I mean these brushes are just wow! They're super similar to MAC brushes, but they're a lot more affordable! You can purchase the 8 brush set or each brush individually! They even have a set with just face brushes and just eye brushes! It's worth every penny guys! There's no shedding and they're super soft! I'll be reviewing these soon! However, if you're tempted to buy them now, then don't forget to use the coupon code "MUBYDIVYA15" to get 15% off your complete order!

I been loving these brushes!

Moving right along, I wanted to mention MAC's lip liner in Stripdown. This is my all time favorite lip liner! It's the perfect warm medium nude! I love to use this under nude lipsticks and I also just love to wear it on it's own! I love MAC lip liners, they're one of the best lip liners I've ever used! If you have medium to tan skin, honestly you need Stripdown! I know it may not sound like it's all that, but when you try it on you'll see what I mean! I feel like I already spoke about this lip liner in one of my Favorites, but I've used this lip liner so much this month that I decided to talk about it anyways!

Stripdown by Mac!

Next, I been obsessing over ColourPop's Ultra Metallic Lip in Salt. Salt is a cool toned taupe. It actually appears rose gold on my lips and I just been loving rose gold lately! I was really hesitant with these metallic liquid lipsticks, but they just look so stunning! I been pairing this metallic lip with neutral eye makeup and I just been getting so many compliments! The formula is also really nice! It's a moussey texture and it feels really comfortable on the lips! Once it's dry this stuff doesn't budge! Also, if you don't eat or drink, this stuff will last you a good 5 hours without fading away! If you read my "August Haul" post, then you know I picked up 3 other shades! Let me know if you guys want me to do a full in depth review on this product!

This is what Salt looks like on!

Lastly, I just wanted to mention 2 bronzers that I've been loving this month! I just love that bronzey look! I've been obsessed with the Guerlain Terracotta Terra Magnifica Bronzing Powder. Yes, this bronzer is super expensive, but it's worth every penny! Like, this powder is so smooth and it blends like a dream! It just bronzes your skin perfectly and it looks so natural! I've used the highlight part and it's ok, it's definitely not my favorite, but the bronzer part makes up for it! I also love the color of this bronzer, it's not too orange. I'm currently writing a full review on this product, so stay tuned for that! The last product that I'll be mentioning is the MAC Extra Dimension Bronzer in Delphic. You guys are going to kill me, but this stuff was limited edition. It was a part of this collection that came out 2 years ago I believe, but I thought that MAC carried this shade and formula. I went through their site and I couldn't find it, which is weird, because the Extra Dimension formula is their best formula (in my opinion)! Like, I just love the Extra Dimension formula, because it's just so easy to work with! The results are also more natural, which is something that I like! It doesn't appear cakey or powdery!  It's like a smooth gel based formula! It's pigmented, but blends like a dream! It's also super long wearing! I love this bronzer for the formula and also the shade. Delphic is a brick tan shade with warm undertones. It also has a little bit of shimmer to it. I love that brick shade, because it compliments my red undertones. It just looks like a healthy tan shade on my skin! With that being said, if you don't have medium to tan skin or red undertones, you may not like this shade! I've had this for years and I only started using it now! Next time MAC comes out with a bronzer in the Extra Dimension formula, check it out!

I've been enjoying these 2 bronzers!

That's it for my August Favorites! I told you that it wasn't going to be that many products! I feel like September I'll have a lot more products, since I'll be playing with a lot of makeup! I have so many looks that I want to create! I also have a lot of reviews to post! I been a little behind with that, so I do apologize for that! However, this month I'll have the Guerlain bronzer review up soon, along with the Too Faced Lip Injection Glossy, Smashbox Master Class Palette and the Mikasa Beauty 8 Brush Essential Kit reviews! I'll try to add more reviews if I can! I post a lot of product swatches and mini reviews on Instagram, so be sure to be following me on there @divyapatel_mua.

August Haul 2016 (Makeup)

Hey guys! So, I'm back to my regular schedule now! If you been following my blog, then you know that I went on vacation for about 10 days. Once I got back, I was swamped with work and events! I also been working a lot more hours, so I been pretty busy. I posted my vacation pictures if you guys are interested! They're on Instagram @divyapatel_mua. I obviously didn't post all of them, because you know, I'm not trying to annoy anyone! Disney was a lot of fun! I loved it more than I thought I would! It was also really nice to spend time with my family! Like, at the end of the trip, we were like we need to do more family trips together! So ya, if you're a busy bee like myself, honestly don't forget to spend time with your family! I honestly created the best memories and it showed me how much I really do miss being around my whole family! So ya, let's talk makeup now! I bought a few things before, during  and after my trip! This is probably the biggest haul I've ever done! So, let's just get into it!

A few products from my big August Haul!

Before I left, I had a few packages that came in! I finally ordered from Lipland! You guys know that Amrezy collaborated with them and released 6 shades! I never purchased them before due to the exchange rate and all, but I finally splurged! I picked up the shades Baked (medium mauve toned nude), Retrograde (medium purple grey) and Montenegro (deep plum). These shades are just so stunning! I still haven't tried these on yet, but I'm a huge fan of Amrezy! Her makeup is always on point, so I have no doubt in my mind about these! I know in the future I'll be picking up the rest of the shades!

Isn't the packaging just gorgeous?!

I also received my Colourpop package! I placed this order to get their new Ultra Metallic Lips! I've seen these everywhere on Instagram! I picked up the shades Salt (cool toned taupe), Lights Out (light warm gold), Flitter (warm pink with reflective gold) and Man Eater (medium rose gold). I already used Salt and I'm in love! The formula is really nice! It's a mousse texture with opaque pigmentation! You may think where will I wear these? But honestly, they're really stunning! Just do light eye makeup and pop these on your lips! These are only $6USD , so you really can't go wrong with them! I also picked up 2 more highlighters! I only own the highlighter in Wisp that I'm obsessed with, so I decided to pick up a few more shades! I pick up Monster ( light beige/white with an opaque pink duochrome finish!) and Highly Waisted (golden peach with pink and gold duochrome finish). These highlighters are a must have and Colourpop makes the nicest shades!
Monster and Highly Waisted

I'll be posting swatches of these soon on Instagram!

I had to stop by Walmart to just pick up some essentials for my trip! I repurchased the Garnier Fresh Cleansing Cloths. I already briefly spoke about these on my blog! They're inexpensive makeup wipes that get the job done! What I love about these is that they don't dry out my skin and they get rid of everything, including waterproof mascara! I also picked up the Maybelline Baby Lips in #25 Pink Punch. I basically wanted to get a lip balm that has SPF in it, so that I can wear it to the beach. This stuff comes with SPF 20, so I was like why not! I tried the Baby Lips before and I love this stuff! It just nourishes your lips and leaves them so smooth! It's also inexpensive! Next, I picked up the Vaseline Intensive Care Healthy Hands & Stronger Nails. I bought this because my hands have just been so dry lately! I've tried this stuff and it's ok. It'll hydrate my hands for a few hours and then, they go back to being dry. So, that's why I'm on the fence about it! I also purchased the Nivea Body Milk. Makeup Shayla always raves about Nivea, so I decided to give it a go. Like this stuff is super moisturizing on the skin! It legit left my skin smooth all day! It also adds this healthy sheen to the skin, like I'm so impressed by this stuff! It's just so nourishing on the skin, like my skin looks so healthy when I put this stuff on!

Just some essentials!

I expected better!

This is a must have!

I actually didn't buy that much makeup when I was in Florida. I spent most of the time in Orlando and we were just busy with Disney. So, I basically didn't do that much shopping. Like, we did stop at the Tanger outlets and stuff, but there's obviously not really makeup stores there. My goal was to buy makeup that was discounted or that I couldn't find in Canada. However, I ended up buying a lot of stuff that is available here, since I couldn't specifically go shopping for makeup! We went to Walmart and I decided to just pick up some drugstore items! All the items that I purchased from Walmart are available in Canada! I picked up the L'Oréal Infallible Pro Glow in the shade 208. Basically when I saw this foundation, I was just like you know what Divya? Just splurge a little on drugstore makeup! You don't talk about them enough on your blog! So ya, that's what I did! Everyone is talking about this foundation and I obviously had to get it! The Pro Matte is actually my all time holy grail foundation, so I have high expectations for this one! I still haven't tried this on yet, but let me know if you want me to review it! Next, I picked up 2 L'Oréal Infallible 8HR Pro Glosses. I got the shades 405 Coral Sands (it's a mauvey pinky nude with gold shimmer) and 805 Suede (pink with reflective gold and gold shimmer). I still haven't tried these on, but they swatch really nicely! They're not as bold as they look in the tube, which makes them perfect for a topper! I'm super excited about these! I think I'm going to review them!
I'm beyond excited to play with these products!

I purchased a few Wet n Wild products! I already own their eyeshadow palettes and they're amazing for the price! So, I figured it's time to try their other products! I got the Coloricon Blush in Apri-Cot in the middle. This is a gorgeous peach shade! I swatched it and it's honestly stunning! I'll be putting this to work soon! I also picked up the Megaglo Contouring Palette in Caramel Toffee. I mean it looks exactly like the Marc Jacob's Contouring Palette and it's not even $5! Caramel Toffee came with a banana shade and a warm brown. Again, still haven't played with this, but it does swatch really nicely! The powder is super smooth! Next, I picked up the Megaglo Illuminating Palette in Catwalk Pink. I swatched this palette in store and I was blown away by the pigmentation! Again, it was under $5, so I had to purchase it! By the way, these palettes are huge! They only had the shade Catwalk Pink, which comes with a pale gold, pale pink, rosey pink and peachy gold shades. You can use these shades individually or custom them by mixing them together! I swatched this a million times, but I didn't have the chance to put this on yet! Lastly from Wet n Wild, I picked up the Coloricon Glitter Single in Brass. So, this is basically a pressed glitter. Brass is a gold shade. My mom actually saw it and was like look glitter! She knows how obsessed I am when it comes to glitter! So, I swatched this and the swatch is really patchy, so I'm not sure about this product. However,  I'll be reviewing all these Wet n Wild products, so stay tuned for that!

I can't wait to review all these products!

We also went into Kohl's. I didn't buy any clothing items from there, because there's just too much and it's overwhelming! I hit up their beauty department though! I picked up a brush from the Real Techniques Bold Metals Collection. I was hoping that they had a brush set, but unfortunately they didn't, so I just picked up the brush in #100. This is their large powder brush. Guys, this brush is pure perfection! It just feels so luxurious! I love the way this brush is cut! It's perfect for powder products! Next, I picked up the Lorac Unzipped Gold Eyeshadow Palette. There was a lot of Lorac products that I wanted, but I had to limit myself! I always heard great things about their eyeshadow palettes and it took me a long time to figure out which palette to get! I ended up with the Unzipped Gold Palette, because hello gold eyeshadows! I feel like this is the perfect bridal makeup palette, so that's why I ended up choosing this one! I still haven't tried out this palette, but the eyeshadows swatch really nicely! They're super pigmented and buttery smooth! I can't wait to start using this palette!

Ignore my dirty brush! I just been getting great use out of it!

Lastly when I was in the States, I went to Sephora in Tampa. I didn't know that there was a Sephora in Disney or else I would have gone there! But ya, I was expecting to see a lot of the brands that are not available in Canada, but it legit felt like I went  to a Canadian Sephora. It was just the typical brands that you can find anywhere, so I was bummed out with that! I really wanted to try Milk Makeup, but I think that Sephora only had their mascara or eye liner that I wasn't really interested in. So, I just picked up a few products that I been eyeing for awhile. I picked up the Too Faced Lip Injection Glossy in Spice Girl. Spice Girl is a beautiful medium pinky nude. I already wore this a few times and I like it, but I don't at the same time! It's honestly a love hate relationship with this product! I'll be doing a review on it, so stay tuned for that! Next, I repurchased the Huda Beauty Lashes in Samantha. I had to throw out my old pair, because I used it way too many times that it fell a part! I was actually going to order it online, but it was sold out! So, I was really happy that I saw these at Sephora! They're probably my favorite pair of lashes ever! They're nice and wispie! They go with any look! The quality is also really nice! My old lashes lasted me like months and months! Lastly from Sephora, I picked up the Tatcha Luminous Dewy Skin Mist. I mean everyone raves about it! I also had great experience with Tatcha products, so I just had to get it! I still haven't tried it on, but I'm excited for this product! Let me know if you want me to review it!

I didn't go too crazy at Sephora!

Once I got back, I went a little "cray cray" at MAC! I'm obsessed with glitter and I saw that they came out with new shades for their Frost line! Like, glitter lips have been trending lately! So, I placed an order online and also made a trip to my local MAC! I picked up 5 of the Frost lipsticks! I picked up the shades On and On (deep purple with blue shimmer), Pick Me Pick Me! (light cool toned lavender with multi colored shimmer), Fabby (pinky mauve with gold shimmer), Spoiled Fabulous (metallic gold) and Bronze Shimmer (golden bronze). I still haven't tried these on yet, but they're just so beautiful! I've been lusting over these! These are lipsticks that I definitely won't be wearing often, but they're unique and they would be perfect for artistic looks! Next, I picked up the Pearlmatte Face Powder in Trophy. This was a part of their new "It's a Strike" Collection. I bought this for collection purposes. I definitely didn't need this in my life, but the packaging is just so cute! This is a face palette. You can use these shades as eyeshadows, blushes or highlighters. They're a satin finish. I'm going to try my best to get good use out of it, because most of my limited edition stuff just collects dust and we don't want that! It's like I don't want to ruin the embossing, but it cost me money, so I should be using it! I picked up 2 of the Dazzleshadows! These eyeshadows are super pigmented and smooth! I picked up the shades I Like 2 Watch (medium brown with gold shimmer) and Slow/Fast/Slow (taupey bronze with red and pink shimmer). I still haven't tried these on, but I have a good feeling about these! Lastly from MAC, I picked up the 263 brush. This is just a regular eyeliner brush. I really like the way this brush is cut and it's not thick, so I figured it would really help me create that sharp wing. I was actually watching Tamanna's online class and she was talking about it, so if she likes it, I should as well! Her recommendations are always amazing!

How stunning are these lipsticks? I'll be posting swatches on Instagram!

I'm also excited to play with these!

This looks like a really good eye liner brush!

I also dropped by Pharmaprix. I wasn't planning on buying makeup or anything, but I saw that a lot of their skincare products were on sale, so I had to pick up a few things! I don't really go for drugstore skincare, but I just wanted to give it a go! Like I said, I don't talk about drugstore products that much and I really want to start! I picked up the L'Oréal Age Defense Eye Cream. I'm still on a search for a good eye cream, so I decided to give this a go. So, it's supposed to hydrate your under eye area and help with fine lines. I started using this and it's very hydrating. Apparently you're supposed to see results in 4 weeks, so we'll see! I also picked up the L'Oréal Revitalift Miracle Blur. This is a instant eye smoother. It's supposed to blur out puffiness, crow's feet and fatigue, while correcting dark circles and signs of aging around the eye area. This seems promising, so we'll see how it goes! You're supposed to see results in 4 weeks! L'Oréal is one of my favorite drugstore brands, so I have high expectations! I also picked up the Nivea Moisturizing Night Care. This is just a night cream that's supposed to provide intensive moisture to the skin. Since it's almost fall, my skin will start to get dry, so I just wanted to be prepared. I already tried this a few times and it's ok. It's not my favorite, but I'm still testing it out. It was $8CAD, so I really couldn't go wrong with it! Next, I purchased the Soap&Glory Hand Food. This is basically a hydrating hand cream! My hands are legit always dry and nothing does justice to them, so I wanted to give this a go! The foot cream by Soap&Glory really helped my dry feet, so I'm hoping this will do the trick! I've used it a few times and so far so good, but I'll keep you guys posted! Lastly, I just picked up some Quo Cosmetic Wedges. I just wanted to get these to clean up my contour!

I wasn't joking when I said that I wanted to start talking more about drugstore products!

Moving right along, I've affiliated with Mikasa Beauty! They messaged me just before I left on vacation. They asked me if I wanted to try their products and become a affiliate. I was like why not? I decided to get the 8 Piece Essential Kit. I wanted to try out all their brushes and it's a really good value! Guys, I'm in love with these brushes! I've turned down a few brands for affiliation, because I wasn't crazy about their products, so I was praying that it would work out with Mikasa Beauty and I'm glad that it did! I don't know about their other products, but these brushes are high quality! They're super comparable to MAC brushes, but they're a lot more affordable! I'll be reviewing this brush set soon! If you want to get 15% off your total purchase at Mikasa Beauty, then use the coupon code MUBYDIVYA15. They also gave me this Lemon Drop Sponge! I've been loyal to the Beauty Blender, like I've never used any other beauty sponge, so it's time to try this stuff out!

These brushes are amazing!

I needed another beauty sponge!

Lastly, I had Laura that gifted me 2 products by Avon. We worked together on a video and she was really sweet to gift me these products! She gave me the Avon Anew Clean, which is a micellar cleansing water. I still haven't tried this cleanser yet, but Laura did tell me that she really liked it, so I'm excited! I also got the Avon Beyond Color Lip Conditioner. The packaging is really cute, it looks like a lipstick! I tried this on once and it's super moisturizing! It just nourished my lips and added hydration! As you guys know, I always review products that I receive, so I'll reviewing these eventually! I just have a lot of products that I'm reviewing right now, so I doubt I'll be able to review these this month! However, feel free to contact Laura at laura_oconnor@hotmail.ca. She's really sweet and you can tell that she loves working for Avon! She knows her products inside out! Avon is also an affordable brand, so if you're on a budget, it's best to check out their line! They have so many products, including skincare!

Some Avon products!
