July Haul 2016 (Makeup)

I can't believe it's almost August! July just flew by! I been so busy with events this month! I feel like legit everyone is getting married, like it's crazy! Every weekend I had an event to attend! However, I had a great time and it gives you a break from work! I've also been really productive! I finally did my business logo, so I been super happy with that! I also created a Facebook Page for my Freelance work, so feel free to go check it out here. It hasn't been up for long, so I still have a lot of things that I want to post! I also been on a roll with creating looks on myself, so please go check them out my Instagram @divyapatel_mua. But ya, I did quite a bit of damage this month! I just been wanting to try new makeup! So many companies came out with new products, so I just caved. I still haven't played with a lot of the things that I purchased, but I do want to review a few of these products!

My July Haul!

I placed a few small orders online at Sephora. Ebates had 8% cashback going on this month, so be sure to create an account with them! I spoke about how Ebates works here. The first product that I purchased is actually a splurge! I definitely didn't need this in my life, but I obviously had to get it anyways! It's the Guerlain Terracotta Terra Magnifica Bronzing Powder Contrast Highlighter. So, it's basically a bronzer and a highlighter. The packaging is very unique and stunning! I still haven't touched this, but I'll be reviewing it on my blog! It looks like a stunning bronzer that would work for multiple skin tones! The highlighter, I'm not too sure about, but we'll see what happens! Be sure to be subscribed to my blog, so that you can get notified when I post the review! I have a good feeling about this product!

How stunning is this?!

Next, I purchased the Verb Sea Spray. This stuff is supposed to give you those nice beachy waves. Since I'm going away on vacation, I figured this would come very handy, because I doubt my hair will stay straight with the heat in Florida. I still haven't tried this on yet, but I'm super excited! The reviews were really good on Sephora, so I hope it works out!

I'm excited to try this!

I also purchased the Nars Hardwired Eyeshadow in Outer Limits. Last year, this eyehsadow sold out and I was so upset! It was limited edition then! However, Nars brought it back this year! I believe it's still limited edition, so if you been dying to get it, check out Sephora now! I haven't tried this on yet, but I did swatch it and guys, it's ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS. I can't wait to wear this eyeshadow! It's a beautiful iridescent rose gold ! It has a ton of glitter in it! Like, the picture doesn't do it justice! It's beyond stunning (probably my favorite shade!). Even though the shade is out of this world, the formula can be better. It's a bit patchy. I won't be going too much into detail, because I do want to review this product! I also need to test it out before I give you my final thoughts on it!

Outer Limits!

I repurchased the Sephora Solid Brush Cleaner. This stuff does the work just like the Beauty Blender Blender Cleanser Solid. It's the same concept, it's a solid cleanser. This also cleans beauty blenders and it's a bit cheaper than the Beauty Blender one! It's just so convenient to have and it comes with a nice rubber mat (it's small tho), so that you can swirl your brush on it to make sure that you get all the product out of your brush! I also picked up the Urban Decay Heavy Metal Glitter Eyeliner in Glamrock. I been obsessed with Midnight Cowboy, which is a light beige gold. I been using it a lot, so I figured why not get the silver one. This stuff is amazing, especially if you like the whole glitter wing look. It's super convenient and doesn't make a mess! It's also super pigmented! Sometimes I just apply this all over my lid, because you know how messy glitter gets! I definitely want to purchase all the colors soon!

I love these products!

Lastly from Sephora, I picked up the new Kat Von D Serpentina Eyeshadow Palette. When I saw this palette on Instagram, I just had to get it! It's such a beautiful colorful palette! Like, it's not your basic nude palette, all the colors are bold and fun! So with that being said, you may need another palette for transition colors and so on. I'm trying to get out of my comfort zone, that's why I purchased this. I used this palette once and I'm still not sure what I think about it. The shades are gorgeous, but I find the quality could have been better. It's not Kat Von D's usual quality, I feel like something is lacking. However, I only used it once, so I'll continue to play with it! I'll definitely be reviewing this!

Look at these shades!!!

I also went to Pharmaprix quick quick. I saw the Heel Genius by Soap&Glory, so I picked it up. My feet have been so dry! Like, it's crazy! No matter how much moisturizer I put on, they're just dry. However,  since I start using this cream, my feet have been so much better! They actually stay moisturized and look a lot healthier! I don't even need to put this cream on everyday and they'll stay moisturized! I'm like so blown away by this! It's definitely a must have! Now, I just need a super good hand cream and I'm good to go!

This product is a must have!

I also made a quick trip to Walmart. I picked up more of those Kiss lashes in #3. They're just natural lashes. A lot of my clients prefer these kind of lashes, so I just wanted to stock up a bit! I also got the Ardell Individuals. I figured I'd keep these on hand, so that I can add more volume to natural looking lashes. This again is for my kit! I also purchased the Duo Brush On Adhesive. This stuff only retails $6CAD at Walmart! That's insane, because at Sephora it retails for $12CAD! You get the same amount of product and the packaging is exactly the same! The glue is also the same, so check out Walmart, because Sephora hiked the price of this glue for no reason! I was going to get like 5, because I'm obsessed with this glue, but I was scared that maybe it's not the same thing, so I only bought 1 to test it out!

Some lash essentials for my kit!

Next, I placed an order on Beauty Bay. This was my first time ordering from this site! However, the shipping was pretty fast! I was expecting it to take longer, since they ship out of the UK. So, Beauty Bay carries several brands, such as Kevyn Aucoin, Anastasia Beverly Hills, Dose of Colors, Gerard Cosmetics and so on. So, if you're in the UK or even Canada and you have a hard time finding a brand, definitely check them out! Like, I find Dose of Colors is hard to find and I'm surprised that they had it! Also, the minimum to get free shipping is really low! I believe for Canadians it's only $26CAD, so it's really not bad! So, I purchased the Anastasia Beverly Hills Glow Kit in Gleam. I been obsessing and I mean obsessing over That Glow, so I really wanted to pick up Gleam. However, it was sold out on Sephora's website and my local Sephora didn't carry it! So, I freaked out and I just typed it in Google to see where it was still available and Beauty Bay came up, so ya that's how I found out about them! I have high hopes for this palette! Like, That Glow is everything and I just want to pick up all the Glow Kits now! I'm planning on doing a swatch post of all the kits next month, so that you guys can see a comparison. I know I'm crazy and I purchase everything, but I know some of you are on a budget. It'll just give you a clear idea of which one will be suitable for you! I also picked up the Eyedeal Duo by Dose of Colors in Lucky Star. Guys, I been wanting this for so long, but couldn't find it anywhere! Like, when I finally convinced myself that I needed this, like they were sold out everywhere, so I was super surprised that Beauty Bay still had them! They don't have all the shades available, but I mean it's better than nothing! I think next month, I'll be getting the rest of them! I still haven't tried this on, but I mean, I know I'll love this! I just find this such an amazing idea! You get a primer on top and the glitter on the bottom! It's just so convenient! The primer is also the color of the glitter! So ya, if you guys want me to review this let me know! I'll definitely be creating a look with this, so be sure to be following me on Instagram!
I'm beyond excited to play with these!

Last month, I actually ordered from Makeup Geek and it arrived earlier this month! I purchased the Extra Large Z Palette, which I absolutely love! I have the Medium one already and it's just so useful! I've been obsessed with Makeup Geek Eyeshadows, so I wanted to get a bigger palette, so that I can add more eyeshadows to my collection! The Z Palettes are very sturdy and not too bulky! It's super convenient to travel with! I also picked up a few eyeshadows! I purchased Ritzy (duochrome: warm reddish brown with gold and green reflects), Secret Garden (duochrome: dark brown with teal reflects), Curfew (matte: plum purple) and Houdini (foiled: dark teal). I mean these eyeshadows are just stunning and the quality is just amazing! I'll always rave about the Makeup Geek Eyeshadows! It's worth every penny! I been obsessed with Ritzy! I was a little hesitant when I first received this shade, but it's stunning once you put it on! I've used this on several of my clients and they been obessed with it! It's not your typical gold, it has green and brown to it, which makes it more neutral. However, since it's a duochrome it just adds that beautiful reflect that just looks so stunning! I haven't played with the rest of the eyeshadows, but I'll definitely be digging into them soon!

The XL Z Palette

My new Makeup Geek Eyeshadows

That concludes my haul! It may seem like I didn't get that much, but trust me, my bank account didn't like it too much. Like I said, there's a lot of products that I want to review, so stay tuned for that! I'll be uploading my "August Favorites" soon and I also want to do a "What's in my Travel Makeup Bag", so that you guys see which products I'll be travelling with to Florida! It'll give you a glance at some of my holy grails and just suggestions if you're travelling as well! I'll try to sneak in a review as well before I leave, but I can't guarantee you that! I also just wanted to say thank you for passing by my blog! It truly does mean the world to me that you take the time to read my post(s). I don't think I say it enough! I put a lot of work into my blog and stuff, so it's just so amazing to see it grow by the month! But ya, thank you and I hope you guys have a great week!

My Makeup Brush Set: Aphrodite 10 Piece Oval Brush Set Review

The hype has been real about these oval brushes! I've always had my eyes on them and I'm so grateful that My Makeup Brush Set sent me the Aphrodite 10 Piece Oval Brush Set! If you been following my blog for awhile now, then you already know that I do a full review on all products that I receive! I'll also be doing short makeup tutorials with these brushes in action, so be sure to follow me on Instagram @divyapatel_mua. I'm sure you guys have seen the Artis brushes everywhere on social media! These are very similar, but they're so much more affordable! I don't think any company can beat My Makeup Brush Set's price! But ya, let's get into this review!

These are so gorgeous!

This brush set came with 10 brushes, which includes both face and eyeshadow brushes. They all come with this beautiful silver packaging! It also came with a velvet pouch to hold your brushes in! I find the handle is sturdy. It's definitely not something that would snap right away, however, if you add pressure to it, you may bend or break it! So, be sure not to add too much pressure! These brushes do have a luxurious feel to them! I find they're really well made! This set retails for $39.99CAD! Yes, that's absolutely crazy! You get 10 brushes with a pouch for only $39.99! It may be too good to be true, but it's real! ! Here is the link to purchase this set here. They also have a black and gold set, which are absolutely stunning. They carry a lot of  really nice things, so be sure to browse their website!

The handle

Before I break down each brush, let's talk about their overall quality. So, the packaging is definitely really nice! These brushes are all really smooth! I experienced a bit of shedding with a few brushes (maybe like 3 or 4 of them), but the shedding isn't that bad! I find my MAC brushes have shed way more than these will ever! I find they're pretty easy to wash! Of course the face brushes are a bit harder, since they're a lot bigger. However, I just use olive oil and dish soap, which get rids of the product! For the 2 large face brushes, I also use this brush conditioner that I have just to make sure that the bristles stay soft! I find the overall quality is really nice for these brushes! I'm really impressed, since this set is so inexpensive!

My Makeup Brush Set: The Aphrodite 10 Piece Oval Brush Set

Let's break down each brush! They don't come with names or anything, so I numbered them myself! Also, in the purpose section, it's my opinion. These brushes are very versatile, so you can use them for multiple things. I just wrote down what I personally use them for!

The 10 brushes from this set

All the brushes side to side

Brush #1:
-Purpose: For foundation, bronzer or setting powder
-Size: Large
-My Thoughts: This is the brush that shed more than the other brushes, but it wasn't horrible to the point that I wouldn't use this brush! It's once in awhile that it sheds! I used this for foundation and it did a great job applying it! It didn't matter if it was liquid or cream foundation, it blended everything really nicely! I used circular motions to buff it in for that effortless look. I really like this brush, however, I do prefer my stippling brush that I normally use. I find once you  stipple the foundation into your skin, it lasts a lot longer! With this brush, you can't stipple the foundation into your skin! This brush is also a little hard to wash! You definitely need to deep clean it to get all the product out!

Brush #1

Brush #2:
-Purpose: For bronzer, blush or setting powder
-Size: Medium
-My Thoughts: I love this brush to apply bronzer! It just blends everything in so effortlessly! It's also the perfect size, not too big or small! This brush works really well with liquids, creams and powders! I've even used it to apply blush and setting powder! It did a great job! This brush is very versatile as you can see, which is why it's one of my favorite brushes in this set!

Brush #2

Brush #3:
-Purpose: For blush, contour, concealer or setting powder
-Size: Falls between Small-Medium
-My Thoughts: This brush is smaller and more dense than Brush #2. This makes it ideal for liquid and cream products! I love to use this for cream blush and contour. It blends everything so effortlessly! I also like it to blend out my concealer! It's a really nice size and fits perfectly into that under eye area! I'm just not a fan in using this brush to apply setting powder. I find the powder gets stuck in the bristles and you lose product because of that!

Brush #3

Brush #4:
-Purpose: For contour
-Size: Falls between Small-Medium. It's smaller and even more dense than Brush #3!
-My Thoughts: This brush is ideal for cream and liquid contouring! It's the perfect size to fit into that cheek bone area! It's also dense, but not too dense and it just blends the contour really nicely! This is my favorite brush of all time to blend my cream/liquid contour! You can even use it for powder contour! If you have a hard time blending out your contour, then this is the brush that you definitely need!

Brush #4

Brush #5:
-Purpose: For concealer
-Size: Small
-My Thoughts: This brush is ideal to apply concealer anywhere on your face. It's a bit small to apply in the under eye area, but it's perfect to highlight your nose and forehead! I also use it around my nose (like those hard to reach areas). I even use it to apply contour under my bottom lip. It's a small handy brush! It's perfect for those smaller and harder to reach areas! It's perfect for liquid, cream and powder products!

Brush #5

Brush #6:
-Purpose: For nose contour
-Size: Small and thin
-My Thoughts: On the website, it says that you can use this brush for multiple stuff, but in my opinion, it's amazing for your nose contour! It's thin, so it fits perfectly! It's ideal for cream, liquid and powder products! I never used cream or liquid products to contour my nose, since I never had a good brush to blend the product. This brush changed everything! Contouring my nose has never been so easy! It just leaves such a natural look! This is my favorite brush in this set! I've been using it everyday ever since I received this set!

Brush #6

Brush #7:
-Purpose: To contour your nose or to define your eyebrows!
-Size: A lot smaller and thinner than Brush #6
-My Thoughts: This brush is very similar to Brush #6, but it's a lot smaller and thinner. I tried it out for multiple things, but I only prefer it for nose contour! It' more dense than Brush #6, so it blends liquid and cream products even better! Since this brush isn't as long as Brush #6, you do have a bit more control. If my other brush is dirty, I'll reach for this brush! I also use it when I need to blend out my concealer to define my brows! It's the perfect size for it and it blends everything effortlessly!

Brush #7

Brush #8:
-Purpose: For eyeliner or eyeshadow
-Size: Really small and thin
-My Thoughts: I used this to apply my liner on my bottom lash line. It does an ok job. You can even use this brush to blend out eyeshadow on your bottom lash line. It blends everything nicely! I'm not crazy about this brush. I just don't see myself reaching for this kind of brush for liner or eyeshadow!

Brush #8

Brush #9:
-Purpose: For lip products or eyeshadow
-Size: Small (circular)
-My Thoughts: This is another brush that I'm not blown away by. I've used it to apply lipstick and lip gloss before, but I find my Sephora lip brush does a better job. I've used it in my crease to apply eyeshadow and it does an alright job. I definitely prefer my other eyeshadow brushes over this! It's another brush that I won't be reaching for.

Brush #9

Brush #10:
-Purpose: For lip products and eyeshadow
-Size: Smaller (circular) and more dense than Brush #9
-My Thoughts: Just like the Brush #9, I'm not a fan of this brush either. It's very similar to the Brush #9, this one is just more dense. I just use this brush for those harder to reach areas to apply my concealer. Other than that, I don't really reach for this brush.

Brush #10

So bottom line, I really do like this brush set! There are a few brushes that I'm not a fan of, but the majority are really nice! It's such an affordable brush set, that you guys can't go wrong with it! These have definitely passed my expectations! I hope you guys found this review useful! Like I said, check out their website! They have a lot of affordable things!

I used most of the brushes from this set to do my makeup in this picture!

Coral Mariee: Pressed Glitter Review

Hey guys, I'm bringing to you yet another review. I was really excited to write this review, because this is a fairly new cosmetics brand in the market. I came across this brand on Instagram. Coral Mariee launched not even a few months ago, so I was really excited to try their pressed glitters! As you guys know, glitter has been really trending this year! I've seen several companies now with pressed glitters! I just find it so amazing that people just start their own cosmetics line! I can't imagine how hard they work, that's why I love supporting new brands! I love networking with them, getting to know them and just helping them out where I can. I been exchanging messages for awhile with this brand and I was just so excited to try their products! If you're a blogger, be sure to connect with brands, especially the newer and smaller ones! It's so important to network and just help one another out! By doing that, not only are you helping them, but they're helping you by providing new content for your blog! So, this kind of stuff works both ways! Anyways, this introduction is getting super long, so let's just get into this review!

Coral Mariee Pressed Glitters

Let's talk about the packaging. The packaging isn't anything fancy, they're just normal pots with the logo on top. The pots are somewhat sturdy. You can definitely travel with them! The pots may seem little, but each pot comes with 3g of product! In my opinion, that's a generous amount! You'll see that you use very little product, so these pots will definitely last you for a long time! Each pot retails for £2.99 (about $5CAD), which is really not bad, since you do get a great amount of product! Coral Mariee also sells Ready Made Palettes (so the pressed glitters come in a pan), which retails for £10 (about $17CAD). They come with 6 pressed glitters, which is a great deal! They ship worldwide! All the products are vegan and cruelty free! You can purchase them here. They're only sold through their official website for the moment! You can find them on Instagram at @coral_mariee_

The cover of each pot!

How stunning are these shades?! Each pot comes with a generous amount of product!

Coral Mariee has a beautiful shade range! You have your typical neutral shades and some fun shades as well! As mentioned, they come in pots or you can get the ready made palettes! The shades that I received are Egyptian and Leprechaun. Egyptian is a beautiful medium gold and Leprechaun is a stunning emerald. These are all hand made!

A closer look at both shades!

Egyptian

Leprechaun

Swatches of both these pressed glitters! They're absolutely stunning!

The formula for both shades is very similar. The only thing is that my Leprechaun is just a bit dry. It was leaking when I received it, so I'm guessing something happened when it was on it's way to my house ( Egyptian was in perfect condition!). However, I added a tiny bit of beauty oil (the Josie Maran Argan Oil). It became creamy again! They're both really pigmented! A little goes a long way! The consistency is kind of like a cream eyeshadow, but thicker. It's really smooth! The best way to apply these is with a flat synthetic brush or your fingers. It's important that you pat or press these onto your lid! Don't swipe them or else it'll look streaky! It's also important that you use Mac Paint Pot or something with that dry tacky base, so that these pressed glitters don't slip and slide on your lid. You can even just set your eye lid with translucent powder before applying these and that'll prevent it from moving around! Make sure you don't pick up too much product or else these will transfer into your crease! I pack them on lightly and build them up as needed. Now, these do transfer a little bit no matter what you do. Especially if you have hooded eyes like myself, a tad bit will get in your crease. To prevent a lot of it from transferring, I took a flat synthetic brush and sprayed the Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray and dabbed it on my lid. I find once I did this, the glitter stayed in place and only a tad bit transferred! There is a little bit of fall out, so it's best to do your eyes first and then your foundation. You can also use those Shadow Shields (this is what I use, because I love to do my foundation first)! These will wear for a strong 5 hours, after that it does start to fade away slowly. You can always use a metallic eyeshadow  underneath and pop the pressed glitter on top, so that it doesn't look like the glitter is fading away! Other than that, these are absolutely amazing! They really put the whole look together! It's definitely a unique concept! It doesn't create a mess like loose glitter does and it's so easy to apply! You don't need glitter glue or anything!

With Leprechaun on. I did a 3D Smokey Eye with this shade!

I don't normally wear green, but I'm absolutely loving this shade!

This is with Egyptian on! I applied it all over my lid!

Overall, I love these pressed glitters! If you love glitter, these are a must have! They're great quality for the price! Like, you really can't go wrong with them! I'll definitely be picking up products from this brand! I hope you guys liked this review! Definitely go check out Coral Mariee! You guys won't regret it! Their pictures on Instagram will make you drool! Hopefully I can talk about more new brands on my blog! If you guys know any brands that are just starting off with great products, leave a message down below!

Tatcha: The Ritual Discovery Kit Review

Hey guys, so I'm finally bringing to you my review on the Tatcha Ritual Discovery Kit! I got so many questions about Tatcha, when I posted a picture of the package that I received! I didn't post this review sooner, because I really like to test out my skincare products! I find sometimes with skincare, you don't get the results that you want right away, so you have to be patient with them! That's why I always test them out for 4 weeks before I give you my final thoughts! So ya, let's talk about Tatcha! I feel like everyone has just been raving about how amazing their skincare products are! I've been eyeing this brand for awhile, but let's be honest, it's more on the high end side. Which is why I been putting it to the side. However, a few weeks ago, they sent me their Ritual Discovery Kit. I was beyond excited to try this kit! This kit is absolutely stunning! It came with 4 deluxe sized products! They feel so luxurious, so I can't imagine the full sized ones! Even the box just felt so luxurious! Like, everything was beyond perfect and I'm so grateful to have received this! Let's jump into this review!

How stunning are these products?!

Before I start to review the products, let's talk a little bit about Tatcha. This is definitely a new luxury skincare brand at Sephora. This brand was basically inspired by the Geishas in Japan. Victoria Tsai, whom is the Founder and Chief Treasure Hunter of Tatcha explained in this pamphlet (that comes with the kit) that she was inspired by this Geisha that she met one day. She changed her life. The Geisha taught her a different approach to beauty-that less is more. The box had this statement that I also found interesting and gives you a little history of how Tatcha started:
"Enduring beauty is a culmination of the wisdom of centuries. Studying the timeless rituals of the geisha and working with top scientists led to the creation of this highly evolved approach to skincare"

Everything about Tatcha just feels so luxurious! Even the paper that they wrote me a message on!

Tatcha's products are all made in Japan, which is just so fascinating, because we all know how advanced Japan is when it comes to cosmetics! Some of their popular natural ingredients that they use are rice bran, camellia, papaya enzyme, licorice root extract, Asian botanical extracts, and much more! They definitely use unique ingredients that other skincare brands don't! I just learnt so much about their brand and their products, like it's really interesting! I highly recommend that you guys learn about Tatcha! This is great brand that has products for anti aging, cleansing, exfoliating, hydrating, purifying, eczema, pores, hyperpigmentation and much more! You can browse their website (https://www.tatcha.com/) to discover all the products by skin type and benefit! It's well organized and very informative! You can even purchase these products at Sephora! They actually sell this exact kit that I'll be talking about on Tatcha's website for $59USD. They even sell deluxe sizes, so that you can try out the products before investing in a full size! Also, if you order through their website, they send you 3 complimentary samples!

I love the purple touch!

This Ritual Discovery Kit came with the Pure: One Step Camellia Cleansing Oil, Polished: Classic Rice Enzyme Powder, Supple: Moisture Rich Silk Cream and Radiant: Deep Brightening Serum (as mentioned deluxe sizes). The products in this kit are aimed for people with combination skin, however you can use it if you have oily or dry skin. I'll let you know which products to substitute depending on your skin type. In the pamphlet, it's stated that this is the skincare ritual that the geisha have perfected that is elegant and simple for Pure, Polished, Radiant and Supple skin. This is also what's stated in the pamphlet:

"The geisha taught me that purification is the first and most important step of creating an effective anti-aging skincare routine. Removing makeup and sunscreen without stripping moisture from the skin allows it to maintain its natural balance. The second step to purification is daily exfoliation. Polishing the skin to a beautiful luster leaves it primed to receive the benefits of any treatments that follow"

With that being said, you can definitely customize your ritual! You can contact Tatcha at 888-739-2932 or info@tatcha.com to help you with your product selection. This is great for those of you that aren't sure what to get! They have tons of products, so it can get overwhelming! My ritual that I've received contains Step 1:Pure, Step 2: Polished, Step 3:Radiant and Step 4:Supple. This ritual is basically to help my skin look healthy and radiant. It's also going to add moisture to my skin and help with anti aging. This is the perfect fit for me!

I love the packaging of this kit! It's so informative!

This card had the steps to this ritual! They do a great job delivering the information!

Now let's get into each product. I'll be providing the directions on how to use the products and the benefits of each product. All this information was provided in the pamphlet as well! The section with "My Thoughts" is basically what I think of the product and the results that I've achieved from them! Let's break down each product:

1)Pure: One Step Camellia Cleansing Oil
Benefits: Gently dissolves environmental agressors, sunscreen and waterproof makeup. Nourishing Camellia Oil emulsifies completely when rinsed, but does not strip away skin's natural moisture, leaving it feeling fresh and pure.
Cost:The 0.8oz retails for $15CAD and the 5.1oz one for $58CAD.
Directions: Pump a quarter-sized amount into dry hands and massage onto a dry face. Rinse away with warm water.
My Thoughts: This cleansing oil is everything! It gently takes off all the makeup and impurities from your skin! I'm surprised that it took off my waterproof mascara easily! My skin feels dry after I use a cleanser, but this wasn't the case at all with this cleansing oil! The texture of this cleanser isn't sticky, which is something that I really like! It didn't leave my skin feeling oily or greasy! It actually nourished my skin and left it feeling super fresh! Also, a little goes a long way with this product! Normally one pump is more than enough for my whole face, so you get your moneys worth! I see this product working for any skin type! I'm really impressed with this product and I highly recommend it!

Tatcha One Step Camellia Cleansing Oil

2)Polished: Rice Enzyme Powder
Benefits: This daily exfoliant polishes skin to a pearly luster. A toner, cleanser and exfoliant in one, it resurfaces skin in moments, yet is gentle enough to use twice daily.
Cost: The 0.35oz retails for $19CAD and the 2.1oz for $78CAD.
Directions: Pour 1/2 teaspoon of powder into wet hands and rub hands together to turn the powder into a creamy foam. Gently massage onto a wet face, avoiding the eye area, for ten seconds, then rinse away with warm water.
My Thoughts: This is definitely a unique product! It's a powder that turns into a creamy foam when you add water to it. It's such a smooth loose powder, but there's enough grit to remove all the impurities! It's a very gentle exfoliant! Normally, exfoliaters cause redness on my skin, but this wasn't the case with this product! It gently toned and exfoliated my skin! It also made my skin feel super smooth! I don't find this product drying at all, but I do recommend that you use a moisturizer after. I love how this product doesn't leave any residue once you rinse it! The packaging of this product is also amazing! I love the push back cap, because it prevents the product from spilling! You have enough control to dispense the amount of product that you desire. Overall, I really love this product! This Rice Enzyme Powder is mostly for people with combination skin, however, they do have different kinds of powders for different kinds of skin!

Polished Classic Rice Enzyme Powder

3)Radiant: Deep Brightening Serum
Benefits: This two in one spot corrector and hydrating serum quiets overactive melanocytes to target existing and future hyperpigmentation. Nourishing Squalane replenishes skin, resulting in a naturally radiant glow.
Cost: The 50ml retails for $185USD and the 10ml retails for $39USD (this product is only available on the Tatcha website!)
Directions: After cleansing and polishing, dispense one 1-2 pumps. Gently massage onto face. Existing age spots will begin to lighten after 4-8 weeks of use.
My Thoughts: This product is very expensive as you can see. However, a little does go a long way! You really need a tiny bit to cover your whole face! This product is definitely very hydrating on the skin! I also love the radiant glow that it gives you! It just brightens up your skin and makes it look super healthy! This serum also doesn't feel oily and it absorbs really quickly into your skin! I definitely find that this product has helped brighten my skin. I don't have any hyperpigmentation, but I been using it under my eyes (I use a really and I mean really small amount!). My under eyes don't appear as dark as they used to! I'm really impressed with how well this product works! It does take several weeks to see a difference! At first, I really didn't see that brightening effect, but now when I really observe my skin, I have been seeing changes! With all that being said, I do really like this product! I haven't used a serum that actually brightens my skin, so I definitely do recommend this product, especially if you have hyperpigmentation!

4)Supple: Moisture Rich Silk Cream
Benefits: This lightweight, anti aging gel cream is absorbed effortlessly creating a weightless veil of silk to protect skin from the environment.
Cost: The 10ml retails for $33USD and the 55ml retails for $150USD (or $180CAD, you can buy the full size at Sephora!)
Directions: Scoop a pearl sized amount of cream and massage gently onto face, neck and decolletage in upward strokes. Use daily, day and night.
My Thoughts: The texture of this product is a gel cream and it has a pleasant scent to it (it's not strong). This stuff is beyond hydrating! I'll apply this at night and in the morning, I don't even need to use a moisturizer, because my skin is just so hydrated! I can legit go the whole day without having my skin feel dry! It's that effective! It's also very nourishing on the skin! I love how your skin doesn't look greasy or oily when you apply this! It just looks radiant and healthy! In terms of anti aging, since I'm still kind of young, I don't have to worry about that. My skin doesn't show any signs of aging, so I can't really help you in that department, but it's a really nice moisturizer! It keeps my skin balanced and it locks in the moisture! This product is super expensive, but I really like it. I never used a cream that locked in the moisture for a few days!
Supple Moisture Rich Silk Cream

As you can see, I enjoyed all 4 of these products! My skin has honestly never looked this good in so long! After trying these products for 4 weeks, I did see a huge difference! My skin just feels so hydrated and looks radiant! I just love how healthy my skin looks and feels! I've used these products separately and together! They work really well on their own or together! I love the overall finish when I use all these products together, so I'll definitely continue this routine! You do have to be consistent with this routine to notice the results! You don't need to do this routine every night, but it's best to do it at least twice a week to get the results that I've achieved! I highly recommend that you pick up the Ritual Discovery Kit, since it gives you the chance to test out more than 1 product! I know the full sizes are expensive, but skincare is definitely the one thing that you should invest in! These products have all been nothing, but amazing! It's worth every penny! Like I said, Tatcha has different products for different skin types, so definitely check out their website!

Definitely a must try! You won't be disappointed!

Last look at these products!

I hope you guys enjoyed this post! I ended up loving these products more than I thought I would! I definitely want to try more Tatcha products! Let me know your thoughts on these products and if you've tried a Tatcha product that you've been obsessed with!

June Favorites 2016

Let's talk about my June Favorites! I been using a lot of the products that I previously mentioned in my Favorites, so I don't have that many products this month. It's been boiling here in Montreal, so I been doing a lot of natural looks with minimal products! My skin was also breaking out in May, so I didn't want to wear too much makeup, but now my skin got a lot better in June! So ya, I wasn't doing a full face like I normally do! I just been keeping it at the very minimal! But ya, let's jump into my June Favorites!

June Favorites!

Let's talk about a few skincare products first. I forgot to mention this product last month, but I been loving the Rodan+Fields Micro Dermabrasion Paste. I've been using it for awhile now! It gently exfoliates my skin without being harsh. It leaves my skin feeling super smooth! My skin just looks super healthy when I use this product! After using it for 3-4 weeks, I started to see a improvement in my skin texture. My skin is somewhat sensitive and I have these tiny  bumps near my forehead. I find once I started using this, they started to slowly disappear and it just doesn't appear rough like it used to! So, I really been liking this! If you're expecting quick results, then this may not be for you, because it does take awhile for you to see your results! I reviewed this product on my blog, so feel free to check it out: http://makeupcheckbydivya.blogspot.ca/2016/05/rodanfields-enhancements-micro.html

Love this product! This is a sample size by the way! Click on the link for more information!

I also been obsessing over the Tatcha: The Ritual Discovery Kit. I always wanted to try Tatcha, since I've read nothing, but good things about them! So, this Ritual Discovery Kit is perfect, because it comes with 4 deluxe size products (they're a really good size!). The products in this kit are the Pure: One Step Camellia Cleansing OilPolished: Classic Rice Enzyme PowderSupple: Moisture Rich Silk Cream and Radiant: Deep Brightening Serum. I'm almost done the review for this kit, so I won't be going into too much detail, but guys, this skincare routine has really helped my skin! My ritual that I've received contains Step 1:Pure, Step 2: Polished, Step 3:Radiant and Step 4:Supple. This ritual is basically to help my skin look healthy and radiant. It's also going to add moisture to my skin and help with anti aging. These products have been doing exactly what's stated on them, which is why my skin has been 10 times healthier than it normally is! I honestly highly recommend it! Your skin will thank me!

Love these Tatcha products!

Continuing onto more skincare products, I've been obsessed with the L'Occitane Shea Butter Ultra Rich Body Cream for months now! I just keep forgetting to mention it in my Favorites! This body butter is beyond moisturizing and nourishing! My body has been really dry the past few months (I just don't know why) and this stuff has been saving me! It's super rich! It doesn't feel sticky or greasy, but it does make your body "slippery", meaning if you try to open a cap of a bottle, like your hand will slip. So, that's the only downside, but this stuff will leave your skin hydrated all day! It's a thick cream, so a little does go a long way! Also, even though it's thick, it absorbs really quickly into your skin! It has this powdery scent to it, but it's not perfume, it may just be the natural ingredients in this product, but a lot of people have been complaining about it! So, if you want to purchase it, maybe check it out in store first! The scent personally didn't bother me! I just can't get enough of this product, it just may be my all time favorite lotion!

This is everything if you have dry skin!

The next product that I'll be mentioning is none other than the Anastasia Berverly Hills Modern Renaissance Palette. I've been so addicted to this palette! Like, look at the shade range! You have a gorgeous selection of reds, oranges, berries, pinks, browns and mauves! These shades are just so stunning for the summer! They compliment any skin tone! The formula of this palette is really nice! I find that  the ABH eyeshadows in these ready made palettes were a bit dry in the past, but that's not the case with this palette! The eyeshadows are buttery smooth and SUPER pigmented! They also blend like a dream and they're super long wearing! The only complaint that I have with this palette is that the eyeshadows are fragile, so when you dip your brush into the pan, the eyeshadow crumbles and the powder goes everywhere, so be careful! That also causes a bit of fallout, which is annoying. Her individual eyeshadows don't have that problem, but this palette does, so just be aware. Other than that, I love this palette! I normally don't wear berry tones or pinks as eyeshadow, but this palette is making me step out of my comfort zone!
Look at this beauty!

The next product that I want to mention is the Make Up For Ever Pro Sculpting Duo in #2. This stuff was so popular last summer! I remember that when it came out, everyone was talking about it! In case you missed out, it's basically a compact with a highlighter and bronzer. The #2 shade comes with a gold highlighter with a metallic finish (it's apparently really similar to Whisper of Guilt by MAC! Some say it's an exact dupe! I don't own Whisper of Guilt, so I can't really tell you!). It's honestly a stunning highlighter! It's a gel powder, so it's super smooth! It's super pigmented, but blends like a dream! It's also really long wearing! Like, I have no complaints about it! I purchased this because of the highlighter, but I actually really like the bronzer as well! It's a warm medium brown. It's not completely matte, but it doesn't have shimmer in it. It's more of a satin finish! At first, I thought it was too orange when I swatched it, however, it looked stunning when I put it on! It's also a gel based powder, so it's super smooth! What I love about this bronzer is that it legit melts into your skin to create a beautiful bronzed look! Like, it just blends so well and it's really long wearing! This is honestly a must have!

I'll always love this product!

Since it's summer, I started using my Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua Ultra Light Skin Perfecting Makeup in 44 Beige Ambre more and more. I don't really like doing a full face for work, especially in this heat! I just been applying my Smashbox Photo Finish Primer, which is of course my holy grail and this foundation over it! It just makes my skin look so smooth and blurs out all my imperfections! This foundation is super light and it doesn't budge! It kind of reminds me of a BB Cream! It just feels so comfortable on the skin! Like, it barely feels like you have makeup on! It blends really nicely and it's long wearing! It has a satin finish that I really like, because it kind of adds that healthy sheen to my skin! I just love how natural this foundation is and I highly recommend it! It's expensive, but I haven't came across a light foundation that works this well! I've been using it for years!

I've been using this foundation for years and years now!

Lastly, I've been loving the Milani Baked Blushes. These are such stunning blushes that come in a beautiful shade range! The ones that I own are Bellissimo Bronze, Corallina, Rose D'Oro and Berry Amore. I love the pigmentation on these! They're pigmented, but not too pigmented to the point that it'll look like it's too much on your cheeks! These also blend like a dream! They also have the right amount of shimmer, so that it doesn't look like it's too much. They're also long wearing! The best part is that they're inexpensive! I believe they retail for $12CAD, which is really not that bad, since it comes with 3.5g of product. Milani is a bit hard to find in Canada, but check your local drugstores! I actually found these in Maxi, so check out your local grocery stores as well! These blushes are worth every penny! I can't wait to pick up more shades!

How stunning are these blushes?!

That's it for my June Favorites! I know I didn't mention any lip products, because I've legit been using the same lip products as last month and April! So, check out those posts! Also, check out my June Haul http://makeupcheckbydivya.blogspot.ca/2016/06/june-haul-2016-makeup.html, I have some really nice products that I picked up! I should be reviewing some of them, so be on a look out for that! Other than that, my review on the Tatcha products is coming up this week! Hope you guys have a great week!
