December Favorites 2016 (Makeup)

It's my last Favorites post of the year! I honestly still can't believe 2016 is over! There was a ton of new product releases this year! There was also a lot more brands in the market! Like, especially the Indie brands, there's so many now! I'm glad that people are starting their own business. The beauty industry is always in demand, so it's nice to see new brands and products! So, let's get into my December Favorites! I tried my best to play with all my new makeup!

Last Favorites of the year!

The first product that I wanted to mention is the Amika Nourishing Hair Mask. Those of you that follow me on social media, know that I chopped off my hair earlier this year! My hair has legit never been this short before! I just wanted to change it up. So, I got rid of all my dead ends. I wanted to start fresh. Normally, I use coconut oil to nourish my hair, but I don't always have that on hand, so I wanted a mask. I came across this mask on Sephora's website and the reviews were good, so I was like why not? Honestly, I'm obsessed with this mask! You put it on for 5-10 minutes before you wash your hair. After you wash your hair, it just feels so smooth! Like, my hair has never been so soft and it looks so healthy! My hair frizzes up really fast, but with this mask, I don't have to deal with that! It also makes straightening my hair super easy and fast! I just been loving this mask! I have the smaller size, but I'm definitely getting the full size! I finally found a hair mask that works!

One of my favorite products!

I also been loving the Huda Beauty Liquid Matte Lipsticks! This has to be one of my favorite formulas! It's super lightweight that it feels like you're not even wearing anything! It glides on your lips smoothly! It doesn't dry out your lips or settle into any fine lines! It's long lasting! I have the shades Venus (deep taupe brown) and Flirt (subtle light chocolate brown) that are the perfect nudes for any makeup look! I'm just so obsessed with these!

I love these nudes! They go with any look!

Since it was the holidays, you know it's all about glitter! I've been loving the Violet Voss Glitter in Champagne Kisses. This is a stunning champagne glitter with multi color reflects! It's just so stunning! The way it reflects in the light is just wow! It suits any skin tone! I've worn this a few times and I've used it on my clients. Like, everyone is obsessed with it!

How pretty is this?!

I've been using the MAC Nutcracker Sweet Copper Face Compact pretty often this month, because of Whisper of Guilt. It's the perfect light gold shade! It just goes with any look! It also suits any skin tone! It's the Extra Dimension Skinfinish formula, so you know I'm all about it! I also been using the blush and it's a lot nicer than I thought! It's a handy compact to have!

How stunning is this palette?!

I've also been loving the Kilimanjaro Health & Beauty Plush Comfortable Moisturizing Socks! I posted a review here, so go check it out! These have been saving my dry feet! The weather has been super cold and dry in Montreal, so my skin gets super dry. My feet and hands are always an issue, so I'm glad that I have these! They actually work! I was really shocked! They just keep my feet moisturized throughout the day!

I love these Spa Socks!

The next product should be no surprise. It's the Pat Mcgrath Metalmorphsis 005 Kit in Bronze. I still haven't had the chance to play with the other shades, but I used Bronze on my birthday and OMG. I mean this is absolutely stunning and I got so many compliments that night! It's super pigmented and shimmery! It's super smooth and glides on effortlessly! It also blends really nicely! It's super long wearing, like I have no complaints! This is just amazing and worth every penny! I just can't wait to play with the other shades!

I'm obsessed with these!

You guys know that I love Clionadh Cosmetics. I've been obsessed with their new shade called Retina! The size of this pan you guys! Like, it's huge! I can never see myself hitting pan on this! This shade is super unique, because it has 8 different iridescent shades! It does mostly appear gold, but there's so many different ways to wear it! I also been using their shade Clionadh Dark a lot this month. This was my favorite shade that they sent me! I was using it non stop at one point, then took a little break and now I'm back at it again! This shade is a marble, so it has a mixture of bronze, magenta and accents of fuchsia! You guys know that their formula is just wow!

My favorite shades from Clionadh Cosmetics!

Lastly, I've been getting great use out of the Glamglow ThirstyMud. I been using it as a sleeping mask and it's worked really nicely! Before I would apply it and then rinse it off in 20 minutes. Ever since I've been using it as a sleeping mask, I find the next day, my skin is even more hydrated and smooth. It just appears so much more healthier! The scent is also not overpowering! I just love Glamglow masks! They have made all the difference in the world these past 2 months!

The perfect mask to hydrate your skin!

That's it you guys for my last Favorites of the year! This is going to be my last post of 2016! I just wanted to say thank you so much for taking the time to read my blog! It truly means the world to me! I also want to thank the people that leave me comments! I just love hearing back from you! I have a lot of projects for 2017 and I can't wait for you guys to see them! So ya,  I just want to wish everyone a Happy New Year! I wish you all a year full of happiness, love, wealth and health! xox

December Haul 2016 (Makeup)

Hey guys, I'm bringing to you my last haul of 2016! It's so crazy how this year flew by! I think this was my busiest and most productive year ever, but I still managed to have fun! I feel like I did so much and I managed to accomplish a few goals! I also hit 25 in November, so things are getting pretty serious now. I also finished my studies at Concordia University. So, it's time for the "real" life now. I'll be honest, I still don't know for 100% what I'll be doing next year, but definitely I'll still be freelancing and blogging. I'm constantly trying to find ways to improve in both those fields. It's definitely something that I enjoy doing and I hope one day that I can make it my full time job! There's a lot that I'm working on right now and I hope it all falls into place soon! So ya, that's a little update on my life. I don't talk about personal things that much, but I feel like once in awhile, why not? I try to post once a day on Instagram, so make sure that you're following me on there @ divyapatel_mua, so that you can be up to date with me! Now, let's get into this haul! It's not as big as I thought it would be! I was trying not to spend a lot on myself, since it was Christmas, but I did spoil myself a little bit!

The last Haul of the year!

I got my Clionadh Cosmetics order! I ordered these highlighters during Black Friday! They were having some great deals, so be sure to follow them on Instagram, so that you're always aware of the deals that are going on! You guys know that I love their highlighters, so I picked up quite a few! I picked up Eadon (light champagne with a hint of peach), One Off #9 (medium gold with mint and medium gold marble), Allspice (pearly white with pink and red reflects. It also has a medium caramel shade  running through it, which gives you the option to deepen the shade or wear it separately), Retina (marble of 8 different iridescent shades, but mostly comes of gold!), One Off #8 (champagne taupe shade with marble of pink and burgundy), Nightfall (gradient of green, teal, blue and violet iridescent shades) and Daybreak (gradient of magenta, red, orange and yellow iridescent shades). Daybreak was actually a freebie that they gave me, since I did review their highlighters, so thank you Clionadh Cosmetics! The owners are super sweet you guys and their products are truly amazing! I think out of all the new shades that I picked up, Retina is my favorite one! It's just so unique and I've never seen a highlighter like this before! It's also huge! I never see myself hitting pan!

How gorgeous are these?!

I also got my Artist Couture package. I placed this order also on Black Friday, I believe they were having 35% off everything, so I figured this was my chance! I've been eyeing these Diamond Glow Powders for centuries! You may already know this, but the owner of this brand is MAC Daddy and honestly, he's always glowing for the gods! His highlight is ALWAYS on fleek! So, it was time that I got on these! I picked up the shades Coco Bling (light silver iridescence) and Gold Digger (light gold iridescence). I still haven't played with these, but I can't wait! I did swatch them and they're gorgeous! The powder is really finely milled! If you want me to review these, let me know!

Can't wait to play with these!

As you guys know, the Mariah Carey and MAC Collection came out, so I was on it! It was such a struggle getting these products! I picked up 2 items on MAC's website and the rest on The Bay's website! I also placed a order on Saks's Fifth Avenue, but I don't think I'll be getting that order. It still hasn't arrived and it says sold out on their site, so I'm guessing my order got cancelled. I still have to talk to them, but reaching them has been a struggle! They already took the money out of my account, so now I'm going to have to fight for it. It's so annoying when companies do that. Anyways, I picked up the Eyeshadow Quad in It's Everything. It's basically a nice cool toned quad. I wanted the one with the warm tones, but that sold out really fast. The shades in this quad are stunning, especially for a soft smokey eye! I also picked up the Extra Dimension Skinfinish in My Mimi. This stuff was expensive, I don't think I've ever spent that much on a MAC highlighter before! My Mimi is a medium copper with gold shimmer. It's a lot darker than I anticipated! When I wear this shade, I like to mix it in with a lighter highlighter, just so that it doesn't appear muddy. The embossing and everything is stunning, but this highlighter is suitable for people with darker skin! I wish it was a bit lighter, just so that multiple skin tones can wear it! You can use it as a bronzer topper! The formula is amazing!  I also got the Touch My Body Loose Powder. I mean the packaging on this powder is to die for! It's absolutely stunning! Touch My Body is a beautiful radiant warm coppery gold! It looks beautiful on the skin! I can't wait to bath in this during the summer! Next, I picked up the lipstick in All I Want, which is a champagne shimmer under the Frost formula. I've been obsessed with metallic/shimmery lips, so this shade is perfect for the holidays! I also picked up the shade Mcizzle, which is a cool toned peach, under the Cremesheen formula. This is such a beautiful everyday shade! I like to put this over MAC's Lip Liner in Stripdown! Lastly, I got the Lipglass in Butterfly Bling, which is a peachy gloss with pink, bronze and gold shimmer. It's a stunning lip gloss that I can't wait to wear! Overall, honestly, I don't think any of the shades or products are that unique, but the packaging was legit to die for!

Isn't this everything?!

Moving along, of course I purchased from Sephora. Sephora always gives back a $25 gift card to all VIB Rouges after the VIB sale. I think regular VIB members get $20 and the Beauty Insiders get $15. Of course, you have to spend a minimum of $50 to use the gift card. I was debating on what to get! A lot of products were sold out, so I decided to just purchase some Anastasia Beverly Hills Eyeshadows. I got the quad, which comes with 4 shades. I just wanted metallic shades. I picked up Peach Sorbet (peachy rose champagne), Amber (multi dimensional gold), Rose (rosey pink) and Chiffon (titanium antique gold). They're nice and opaque! I really do love the ABH formula for eyeshadows! I'm thinking about filling up a Z Palette with their eyeshadows!

Just some metallic neutrals!

I also bought the Amika Nourishing Mask. For those of you that may not know, Amika specializes in hair products. I'm trying my best to keep my hair healthy. I always put coconut oil in it, but I just wanted to purchase a mask that would nourish my hair, because it's convenient. I read great things about their Nourishing Mask, so I figured that I would give it a go! You guys, this mask is amazing! It really does nourish your hair! My hair just feels and looks so healthy! I can also straighten my hair easily, because I don't deal with that much frizz anymore! I'm really surprised that this mask was that effective!

Love this stuff! This is the smaller size by the way! I wanted to try it out first!

Lastly, I picked up the Urban Decay Vice Lipstick Vintage Capsule in Pallor. Pallor is a frosted lavender with grey shift. I've never tried the Urban Decay Vice line before. The formula is really nice! It's pigmented and glides on your lips really smoothly. I'm not a fan of the shade that I picked out. I just pictured it differently, so we'll see how this goes. This collection is on sale right now, so if you been eyeing it, now is the time to purchase it!

This is the shade Pallor

I celebrated my birthday earlier this month, since I had exams going on when it was my actual birthday. Normally, I receive a lot of makeup, but this year, I ended up getting a lot of gift cards. However, I did get the Bite Beauty Creme Lip Gloss in Gold. You guys, I died when I saw this! It's just a beautiful shimmery gold lip gloss! It's SO pigmented! Like, I've only swatched this on my hand, but it's SO pretty!  I'm so excited to create looks with it!

This is honestly EVERYTHING!

That's it for my December Haul! My Favorites for December should be up soon! I'm trying my best to get it up before the new year, so look out for that! I hope everyone had an amazing Christmas! If you have any suggestions or comments for my blog, please leave a message down below! I always love hearing back from you guys!

My Top 5 Favorite Highlighters

Hey guys, so I know Christmas is just around the corner and I'm sure some of you may be shopping last minute or want to get a little something for yourself. So, I decided to do a "My Top 5 Favorite Highlighters". Last year, I did a top 5 of my favorite eyeshadow palettes, so this year I wanted to do highlighters. There's so many highlighters in the market now, it's insane! Everyone is all about the glow these days! Like, who doesn't want to glow for the gods? I purchased a ton of highlighters and I feel like I always come across the good ones! That's why I wanted to write this post, so that you guys can see which highlighters are my top ones! You guys ready?!

Highlighter heaven!

I made this list based on how often I reach for these highlighters. I also took price into consideration and of course the formula! You'll see that I have the same highlighter in multiple shades, because I'm that obsessed with them!

 5)Colourpop highlighters
I mean, who doesn't love Colourpop Highlighters? For the price and quality, these are just amazing! They have a sponge like texture that applies to the skin so effortlessly! They're pigmented and blend like a dream! You can apply one layer for a more subtle highlight or build it up for that opaque highlight! I absolutely love the shade range! There's something for every skin tone! They also have a few unique shades! I also love how the shimmer isn't overpowering! It just gives you such a beautiful glow! They're long wearing and they don't budge throughout the day!  It's best to use them with your fingers! These retail for $8USD, so you really can't go wrong with them! I know at this very moment, a few shades are on sale, so snatch them while you can! If I had to choose my favorite shade, it would definitely be Wisp! Check out my review on this shade here.

Colourpop Highlighter in Wisp!

 4) Becca Shimmering Skin Perfectors
I remember back in the day, Jaclyn Hill used to rave about these all the time, especially the shade Opal! She's one of my favorite Youtubers, so you bet I went out and bought a Becca highlighter! At the time, Opal was always sold out, so I picked up Moonlight and I've been obsessed with it ever since! This formula is just wow! First of all, this powder is so silky and buttery smooth! It's also super pigmented! It just glides on your skin so smoothly! It just leaves that gorgeous metallic finish! It's opaque, but you can definitely sheer it out! This is more on the pricey side, but it's worth the investment! After a few months, I did end up buying Opal and it became my favorite shade! Then, Jaclyn Hill collaborated with Becca and came out with Champagne Pop (click here  for a quick review on this shade!), which also became my favorite! I love them both and I don't know which shade I like better!

Champagne Pop and Opal!

 3)Clionadh Cosmetics
I mean, are you even surprised that Clionadh Cosmetics made it to my list?! I've been obsessed with this brand's highlighters! For those of you that haven't heard of them, please check out my review here. They're fairly a new brand that sells hand made highlighters (and eyeshadows now). They carry a wide shade range! Like, they have some really unique shades that aren't your typical gold and champagne highlighters! They also let you customize your own highlighter! Like, how cool is that?! They also come in many different finishes! They legit have something for everyone! The formula is also amazing!! They're so smooth! They glide on your skin effortlessly! They're super pigmented, but they can easily be sheered out! They're also super long wearing! They come in pans, so you do need a palette to store them in! It's ideal for makeup artists, because they can custom create their own highlighter palette! Every time I take out my palette, everyone is so drawn to the colorful highlighters! They're just so stunning! This brand really perfected their formula! I would say my favorite shades are Retina and Clionadh Dark! These are super affordable you guys, you can't go wrong with them!

Clionadh Cosmetics!

 2) Anastasia Beverly Hills Glow Kits
Moving along, you guys know that I love my ABH Glow Kits! These are super convenient for a makeup artist! It definitely let's you mix and customize your own shade! I own the palettes in Gleam and That Glow. Gleam is definitely a unique palette, but That Glow is definitely my favorite palette! First of all, the pans are huge! I can never see myself hitting pan! You get your moneys worth! The formula is also really nice! The highlighters are buttery smooth. They're packed with intense luminosity. They just leave a stunning metallic finish. They also blend really nicely! They're super long wearing! Again, these highlighters give you the option of wearing them bold or subtle. I also really like the color selection in each palette! They're designed in a way, so that there's a shade for every skin tone! Everyone needs to own at least one Glow Kit!

That Glow!

 1) MAC Extra Dimension Skinfinishes
Of course this is my #1! I always rave about MAC Extra Dimension Skinfinishes! It's MAC's best formula in my opinion! What stands out about these highlighters is that there's not one bit of fall out! It's a gel powder formula. It's super smooth and pigmented! It just applies effortlessly! It just adds such a beautiful luminosity to your skin! These also blend like a dream. Sometimes highlighters tend to just sit on your skin, but this one legit blends into your skin so nicely! You look like you're glowing within! They're super long wearing!  These do have shimmer in them, but it's not overpowering! MAC released a bunch of new shades this year, so definitely check it out! You won't be disappointed with this formula! My favorite shade is Oh Darling, which was a limited edition shade from last year's holiday collection (click here for Oh Darling's review and more information about this formula)!

Oh Darling!

This was such a hard list to make! There are so many other highlighters that I love, but this is my all time favorites! I hope you guys found this useful! Let me know which highlighters are your favorites! This is probably going to be my last post before Christmas! I was supposed to post 2 reviews this week, which were about the Wright Artistry products that I've received, but the owner wanted me to post it in the new year, since their website is under construction! I'll keep you guys posted on that! I just wanted to wish you all a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!

Kilimanjaro Health & Beauty: Plush Comfortable Moisturizing Socks Review

One of the reasons that I enjoy blogging is that I come across so many new brands! You guys know that I love reviewing new products! I love coming across new growing brands! A few weeks ago, Assana, founder of Kilimanjaro Health & Beauty messaged me asking if I wanted to try their product! Kilimanjaro has a passion for developing great and affordable beauty products. They also endeavor to help lift less fortunate women out of poverty. They are currently evaluating a number of causes they would like to support. In the future, they will give a percentage of their sales towards supporting worthy women causes! I thought that was great and I wanted to mention their goal, because I just love brands that have non financial goals! I think it's great that they want to give back! I always support those brands 100% and I think everyone should! So, Assana offered to send me their Plush Comfortable Moisturizing Socks (also known as Spa Socks)! This is such a unique product in the market! I didn't even know that these existed, so I was super excited to review these on my blog! I don't know about you guys, but my feet get super dry in the fall/winter, so I just couldn't wait to try these!

I love these Spa Socks!

The Spa Socks actually look so cute! They're light pink! They have foot prints in white on the bottom. They're ankle socks. Any women up to size 10.5 can wear these socks! They're one size that fits all! They retail for $16.95USD. You can purchase them on their official website, which is https://www.kilimanjarohealthandbeauty.com or on Amazon (click here). They currently only ship to the US and Canada! They're a fairly new brand located in Florida! They have more health and beauty related products, so definitely check out their website! It's a super affordable brand with high quality products!

All instructions and information is on the back!

These socks are super comfortable

Cute, right?

Let's talk a little bit more about the socks, before I give you my thoughts on them. These Spa Socks are meant to give you healthier looking feet. They'll moisturize your feet, so that they feel soft and smooth. The inside of the socks are made out of gel. They have ingredients in them such as mineral oil, olive oil, jojoba oil, avocado, canola and grape seed. Just wash your feet before use. On the packaging it says to wear them for 30-45 minutes 3-4 times a week. You can of course where them longer! Just, if you suffer from diabetes or poor circulation, please consult a physician or podiatrist before wearing them! Also, don't wear them on open wounds! Make sure that you're relaxing and not walking around too much. They're a bit hard to walk in, so be caution! The best way to wash them is by hand! You also want to avoid any direct exposure to sunlight! Also, lay them flat when you're done using them! These can last you up to 3 months, but of course, if you take great care of them, they'll last you even longer!

The inside of the sock

I'll be honest, when I first heard about these, I was very skeptical. I just asked myself  "How can socks keep your feet moisturized?". It just didn't seem real. However, after wearing these Spa Socks for 3 weeks, I can say that yes these actually work! First of all, they're super comfortable! I'm a size 8.5 or 9, when it comes to shoes and these did not feel big at all. They hugged my feet perfectly, since they're stretchable. When I first wore them, the gel felt weird on my feet, but it was super soothing. They're a bit hard to walk in, since they don't really have a grip, so try not to walk around in them too much! You can wear them any time of the day! Over the first week, I started to notice a change! My feet actually didn't feel dry. Normally, they're super flaky and I have to apply a foot cream on them twice a day! The best results were during the third week. After my shower, I would put these on right away. After an hour, I would take them off and then apply a foot cream. It actually made all the difference in the world the next day, because I could go the whole day without putting on a foot cream! Normally, every morning I have to apply a foot cream or else my feet just feel dry. Now, I can actually go a few days without having them look or feel flaky! This was one of Assana's recommendations and it was just amazing! You can even put on foot cream before you put the socks on, but that may get super messy!

What they look like on

Another view

Overall, I think that these socks are amazing! They get the work done! My feet are finally starting to look great after using these socks! It's just such a unique product and it's a great concept! If you're looking for last minute presents, this would make a great gift! I hope you guys enjoyed reading this review! Go check out this brand, you won't regret it! We're getting closer to Christmas and I have 2 other reviews that are on the way! So, look out for those! I'll try to squeeze in a third post!

November Favorites 2016 (Makeup)

Hey guys, so I tried my best to get this post up in time! I was trying really hard not to take forever like I did with the past few Favorites posts! I have a few new products this month! It's not a super long list, but they're interesting products, so I hope you guys enjoy this post!

November Favorites!

The first product that I wanted to talk about is the Kat Von D Lock It Tattoo Foundation (I'm in the shade  Medium 62). This was one of my first high end foundations that I've ever purchased!  I've been obsessed with this foundation for years! I kind of put it to the side, since I've been loving my L'Oreal Infallilble foundation. However, I saw it in my drawer and I was like let's use this foundation. I honestly forgot how amazing this foundation really is! It's full coverage, so the key is not to use too much of it! I use two pumps and it covers my whole face! I had terrible breakouts in November, so I did use a tad more in those areas! It did an amazing job covering all my blemishes! I personally love to use this foundation with a Beauty Blender, just because it gets rid of any excess product and the finish is even more flawless! It's super long wearing and stays in place all day (if you set it with powder)! It also blends really nicely! It gives you a matte finish. The consistency of this is thick, so again make sure that you don't use too much! Apply it one pump at a time! If you don't want that full coverage finish, just use one pump and take a blending brush and really blend it out! When my skin started to get better, I mixed it with my L'Oreal Inflallible and I loved the finish! So ya, if you're looking for a good full coverage foundation, I highly recommend this one!

This will always be one of my favorite foundations!

If you read my haul, than you know that I bought the Glamglow set that came with all their masks! I just been loving that whole set! It was definitely one of my favorite purchases of the year! The one thing that I love about Glamglow is that all their masks give you quick results! Within the first few uses, you start to see results!  Which is why I'll always purchase their masks, because most skincare products don't give you instant results. Even though I love all their masks, there's 3 that I really been obsessed with! I been loving the Glamglow YouthMUD. I mean I don't know what took me so long to try this mask! It's a great mask to exfoliate your skin! It just leaves your skin feeling so soft and fresh! You do experience a tingling feeling with this mask, but it really does pull out the impurities from your skin! I also been loving the Glamglow SuperMUD. This is another mask that I just can't get enough of! This one comes with less product and it's in a smaller tub, however it's worth every penny! This mask gets rid of any blemish! It's a great mask to clear up your skin! Since it's pricey, I don't apply it all over my face, just my problematic areas! It also gives you a tingling feeling when you first use it. It just leaves your skin feeling so smooth! The last Glamglow mask that I've been obsessed with is the GravityMUD! I already mentioned this in my favorites before, but this is the best firming mask that I've ever used! You get instant results! It really does firm and tighten your skin! It's also a peel off mask, so it's super fun to use!

Worth the money!

I been using  Tarte's Tartelette in Bloom Palette often this month. I've been super busy this month, so I don't have much time to do my makeup. I just been reaching for this palette for any eye makeup, whether it's a daytime look or a party glam. I know I already mentioned this palette in my favorites before, but I just love it so much! I love the shade selection! I also love how there's shimmery shades to create a beautiful shimmery evening look! The matte shades are also stunning! The formula is also amazing! These shadows are all pigmented, long wearing and blendable. There's no fallout to them and they all wear really nicely! If you know a makeup addict that doesn't have this palette yet, it would be a great gift for Christmas! I always recommend it to people and they all fall in love with it!

My palette is a little beat up, since I use it all the time!

I also just wanted to mention MAC Fix Plus. I know I said that I wouldn't be mentioning any holy grail products, but this stuff has been saving me! My skin has been super dry, since it's fall/winter. I spritz this on when I have no makeup, so that my skin is hydrated. It also adds a glow to my skin! As mentioned  in my previous post, my skin has been acting up lately and I've had breakouts. So, I tried not to wear too much makeup this month, just to help my breakouts recover. That's why I love using sprays like MAC Fix Plus, because it just helps my skin look healthy! I've also been going for a dewy finish, so I love to spray this once I'm done my makeup. It just makes my makeup appear better! I also spray this before I apply my foundation, so that it adds hydration to my skin and helps my foundation blend better! I just think MAC Fix Plus is an essential and it has so many purposes! Everyone needs it!

Everyone needs MAC Fix Plus

Lastly, I wanted to mention Benefit's Real Cheeky Party Palette. This was last year's limited edition holiday palette. In my opinion, Benefit comes out with the best palettes for a great deal! I don't know why this year they didn't come out with a palette, but if they do in the future, be sure to get your hands on it! The Real Cheeky Party Palette came with a highlighter, 3 blushes and Hoola bronzer. My favorite are the Rockateur Blush and the Hoola bronzer! Rockateur is a gorgeous medium rose gold blush packed with shimmer! I find this blush just suits any skin tone! It just adds the right amount of color to the cheeks without it being too much! This is definitely one of my favorite all time blushes! The Hoola bronzer is a gorgeous medium warm matte brown. It just looks so natural on the skin! It just adds enough warmth to the skin! You can even use it as a contour shade, since it doesn't have orange or red to it! It's suitable for multiple skin tones! This is my go to bronzer! I'm so obsessed with the smooth formula! I actually keep this palette in my kit! I use it on everyone, because I just love the shades in this palette and I can get multiple use out of it!

I'm obsessed with this palette!

That's it for my November Favorites! Again, sorry for the late post! I'll try my best not to be late with December! In the new year, I'll definitely be doing a best of 2016 post, just like last year! I know a lot of people were interested in that! I'll try to do my holy grail post as well ( I know I've extended it for centuries!). However in the meantime, I'll be posting a few reviews, so stay tuned for that!

November Haul 2016 (Makeup)

Hey guys, so I'm bringing to you yet another late haul! My life I swear has been so busy! This year is definitely the most busiest I've ever been! I have so much to work on that I kind have been pushing my blog to the side and I do apologize for that! This holidays I was originally supposed to go to India, but that sadly won't be happening anymore. So, I'll use that time to catch up on my posts! So ya, if there's anything that you want me to review or talk about, please let me know! I have quite a big haul for November. I did quite a bit of damage! As you guys know, the Sephora sale was going on and  I splurged a little! Also, there was so many new product releases! Like, it's insane! But ya, let's get into my haul!

My November Haul!

I picked up 2 products before the Sephora sale. I really wanted them and I was afraid that they were going to sell out, so I just went for it! The first product is the Anastasia Beverly Hills Glow Kit in Ultimate Glow. The shades in this palette are absolutely gorgeous and you get a ton of product for the price! However, the formula is nothing like the original Glow Kits! In fact, the formula isn't the best! I tried really hard to make this palette work, but I'm just not a big fan of it! The highlighters are just really dry, which makes them hard to blend. There's also a lot of shimmer in them, which doesn't bother me, but since they're dry, there's quite a bit of fallout. The pigmentation is ok, they could have done better! I think I'll just be wearing these as eyeshadows, because when you wet your brush, they stand out and apply a lot better! I also picked up the Huda Beauty Textured Shadows Palette: Rose Gold Edition. This is another disappointment. I tried my best to love this palette. The formula is also off in this palette. The matte shades are dry and gritty. They don't blend that well! The shimmery and textured shades are stunning, but I have a hard time picking them up with my brushes. They best way to apply them is with your fingers, which doesn't bother me, but it's a lot harder to control where you  want to apply it. However, the pigmentation is really nice on these eyeshadows! I just don't think that the quality is worth the price! I was thinking about returning both these palettes, but you can work with  them. They just require a lot more time to blend and so on! However, both these palettes are gorgeous! I love the shade range in both these palettes, which is why I'm willing to make them work!

What are your thoughts on these palettes?

I was fortunate enough to get the Friends and Family sale coupon from a friend! So, I was able to shop before the sale actually started! You guys may already know this, but I have a ton of makeup! So, this year during the sale, I wanted to pick up skincare products! My skin hasn't been the best, so I really wanted to do something about it! I saw the Glamglow The Magic Box of Sexy. This retails for $329CAD, which is a lot of money, but if you break it down it's really not that bad! You get 6 full size masks (retails $79CAD each), 4 lip treatments (retails $30CAD each) and a brush! The value of this bundle is $560CAD, so for $329CAD, it's really not bad! Plus with the 20% discount, this set is a steal! This set comes with the YouthMUD, SuperMUD, GravityMUD, PowerMUD, ThirstyMUD, FlashMUD, Fizzy Lip Exfoliating Treatment, Wet Lip Balm Treatment, Matte Lip Treatment and the Gloss Lip Treatment. I've tried a few of the masks before I bought this set! My favorite mask is the GravityMUD, which I was going to repurchase during the sale anyways. I also tried samples of the YouthMUD and SuperMUD that I really enjoyed, so all these masks were already on my list! I'm happy that Glamglow has these kind of sets!

One of the best deals!

Also during the sale, I picked up the Ouai Style Edit Selection Set. This set comes with 3 deluxe size products; Wave Spray, Texturizing Hair Spray and Finishing Creme. It also comes with 6 hair ties, which I thought was really cute! If you been following my blog for awhile, then you know that I wasn't a huge fan of Ouai's Dry Shampoo. However, I wanted to try out their other products and I know a lot of bloggers rave about the products in this set, so we'll see how it goes! These are pretty big for deluxe size products, so the price is definitely worth it!

Great way to test out Ouai products!

I also grabbed the Living Proof Perfect Hair Day Dry Shampoo. Last year during the sale, I bought the smaller size to test it out and I fell in love with it! It's definitely the best dry shampoo that I've ever used! This stuff actually cleans and eliminates oil! It also gets rid of any odor or sweat! It also has a fresh scent, which I love! I highly recommend this product!

I know I'll always be repurchasing this!

I also picked up the Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder. I mean this is my holy grail and I just had to stock up on this! I only use this setting powder on my clients! I use it to bake and set makeup! I love everything about it and it's the best setting powder in the market! I also picked up the Ardency Inn Modster Eyeliner Trio. Every year I see this set and I never end up getting it, so I made sure that this year it was in my cart! I heard nothing, but good things about Ardency Inn Eyeliners! Apparently they're super pigmented and budge proof! A lot of people say that they're super long wearing, so I just had to give these a go! They normally retail $23CAD each, but this set for 3 eyeliners was $33CAD and I got 20% off that. So, it was quite a steal! It comes with the black, brown and gold shades!

Some more goodies!

After the sale was over, I saw this Urban Decay All Nighter Long Lasting Makeup Setting Spray Duo. Normally a setting spray costs $39CAD, but this duo was $48CAD!!! I'm so happy that I didn't purchase it individually during the sale! This duo was also available last year after the sale, but since I spent way too much money, I had to pass up on it! So, this year I set some money aside! I ended up picking up 2 duos, since this is yet another holy grail product! I also use it on every single client, so I figured it was the perfect opportunity to stock up! This duo sold out fast, so next year be sure to keep an eye out for this after the Vib sale!
Another great deal!! This Setting Spray is my holy grail!

Lastly from Sephora, I picked up the Pat Mcgrath Labs Metalmorphosis 005 Everything Kit. I mean I just couldn't pass up on this release! Pat Mcgrath relaunched the Gold 001, which was a huge success in the past and added on 3 other shades, which includes, Copper, Silver and Bronze. Each kit comes with a Pigment, Cream Shadow, Dual Ended Marker in Black and Mehron Mixing Liquid. Of course the Everything Kit comes with all the shades. I was going to only pick up only the Gold and Bronze Kits, but I just couldn't resist! I love Pat Mcgrath and I support her brand 100%! Her products are amazing quality! They're so different and unique! It's worth every penny! I already  played with the Bronze Pigment and Cream Shadow! I'm blown away by how amazing it wears and looks! It's super pigmented and long wearing! It's perfect for the holidays!

I'm beyond speechless when it comes to Pat Mcgrath Labs!

MAC released their new In The Spotlight collection, which consisted 4 new Extra Dimension Skinfinishes, which I obviously had to get! Again if you been following my blog, you know that this is my favorite highlighter formula, so I had to snatch all 4 shades! The shades are Soft Frost (white that reflects light purple), Beaming Blush (pink that reflects gold), Double Gleam (cream beige that reflects silver) and Show Gold (peachy gold that reflects pink). All the shades are equally stunning! I love how they reflect different colors! It gives you a break from your typical gold and champagne highlighters! These are super pigmented and long wearing! They also blend really nicely! They have shimmer to them, but it's not overpowering! In my opinion, this is MAC's best holiday release (excluding the upcoming Mariah Carey Collection!). I just didn't think the Nutcracker Collection was all that, minus the face palette with Whisper of Guilt!
This formula is everything!

I received 2 PR packages this month. The first one was from Wright Artistry. This is a brand based in Toronto that sells upscale products! I won't be going into too much detail about this brand or the products that they sent me, because I'll be reviewing them! They sent me their HD Pigment in Jet Set and their Lip Gloss in Supernatural! I'm creating a separate post for each product. The reviews should be up soon, so stay tuned for that! If you guys been wanting to purchase from them, then you can use the discount code "MakeupCheckSave10" to get 10% off your purchase!

I love trying new brands!

Kilimanjaro Health & Beauty also sent me a package with their Plush Comfortable Moisturizing Socks. I actually never knew these actually existed! They're spa socks that help keep your feet moisturized! My feet become super dry during the winter, so I'm super exited to see if these actually work! The review will be going up soon, so be on a lookout for that!

Such a unique product!

That concludes my November Haul! A lot of damage was done this month! December is probably going to be a big haul as well, because you know it's the holidays! I'm especially eyeing the new Mariah Carey and MAC collection! I'll have my favorites up soon, along with a few reviews, so be on a lookout for that! I hope you guys have a great week!
